Why is Google so afraid and What is it afraid of ?

Seems that Google is at it again regarding the indexing of Uruknet website.
This time round, it's not just Google news that stopped indexing, it's the actual Google search engine that simply deletes the Uruknet articles from its list.

I have recopied the text of Uruknet complaint that explains best the manipulation that Google undertakes.

"Google must really have a thing against Uruknet. After Google News’ censorship now Uruknet disappears even on Google’s search engine.

Google stopped indexing Uruknet the middle of May. After Uruknet wrote (again!) many e-mails to Google (and again! we didn’t receive any reply) Google restarted indexing some (not all!) Uruknet’s article on June 17. However, it seems that these articles have a short life on Google since they keep disappearing immediately after they are indexed.

For instance this is a Google’s page saved today, June 19, at 3pm Rome time and this is the same search Google page, the same day at 10 pm Rome time - While the first page at 3pm shows the Uruknet’s article indexed by Google, in the second page’s results the article disappeared and Google left simply the Uruknet’s homepage. Moreover Uruknet’s articles indexed by Google before the middle of May are being disappearing as if someone is manually deleting them. As odd it may seem, it’s as if someone inside Google deleted the indexed article.

Google has already stopped indexing Uruknet from Google News, justifying it with lies and preposterous excuses. Now it seems Google is deleting even those Uruknet’s articles that had already been automatically indexed by the search engine.

Furthermore Google search engine shows Uruknet’s results at the very last position, if at all.

Google’s censorship becomes very clear if one contrasts and compares the search of the word "uruknet" on Google and Yahoo.

Searching the word "uruknet" on Google this evening the results were 194,000.

On Yahoo the same word shows 1,550,000 results.

We don’t ask anymore our readers to write to Google since we lost even our last hopes in their fairness and good faith, but we would be grateful if our readers could post and distribute this article over the Internet; this affair goes far beyond Uruknet and Internet censorship is a real threat and is happening now.

Of course we reserve the right to take legal action against Google

Original article HERE.

Please also consult the piece by Desertpeace blog -- "Google gagging again" on the same subject and that of Mary Rizzo's from Peace Palestine blog -"We need ideas to help Uruknet"

If you have any ideas as to how this can be dealt with, leave them on the comment section.

I also suggest we start boycotting Google. I personally will switch to the Yahoo search engine as of today.

Awaiting your bright gems of creative thinking and action.

With my sincere Thanks.

KARLMARXWASRIGHT--I have NEVER used goggle as a search engine, now or before. It's terrible, in general. TRY this one--I found it alot better--www.business.com Simple name. Easy to remember. I don't like Yahoo, either, for the same reasons, altho, ocassionally, I do try Yahoo, as well. But, the one above, from EXPERIENCE, seems to me to be the best.

It’s a bit improbable that business.com can be better than Google (or worse, for that matters) since its results are powered by Google as it’s written at the bottom of every page of business.com search engine itself. In other words, business.com and google are exactly the same thing.

That would mean you would have to change from blogspot too.
Something i have been telling people to do for a long time.

Obviously your "EXPERIENCE" can't be trusted.
I have always thought you were a screw or two short of a full pack.

Paola Pisi, you should make your informational/activist struggle known at other levels of the Media besides the Internet.

Would not be bad at all to hear/read strong pro-Arab voices like yours from your god-forsaken corner of our poor mother earth instead of the usual Zionist horrors Ferrara, Lerner or Allam...

KARLMARXWASRIGHT--Interesting about goggle and business. I've done voluminous searches in the past, and, as I said, from experience, the business one always seemed to come up with entries I couldn't find elsewhere and I have tried a whole bunch of different search engines in the past. If you have another one, let us and others know, please. Unfortunately, Yahoo never worked well for me.

If there is one thing you should’ve learned from watching me, it is this. Through the grace and mercy of my Lord Jesus Christ, I’m doing very well.
I’m sure you think I should’ve had a nervous breakdown, should be on drugs or I should’ve snapped. Ahhh…but that’s where you miss the most important lesson from God.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil

MAT 28:20 and lo, I am with you ALWAYS, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

My goodness, that’s enough to make you weep right there!

Eph 2:8 By such grace you have been saved through FAITH. This does not come from you; it is the gift of God
Eph 2:9 and not the result of works, lest anyone boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared long ago to be our way of life.

I like the uncensored Arab woman than the censored one.

Among your recent ones, the piece about Mr and Mrs X was hilarious. The god one somewhat less so, especially as god is a figment of the imagination that anyone can twist to serve his or her purposes, as you did.

Google can not handle too much bad publicity on this, espicialy as Uruknet is Not the only news site that might get gagged if google gets away with this - so make sure every one KNOWS.

Helping Uruknet is simple - link to it, tell people to link to it - mention it often, and don't let this go - AND point to the news items that you like on other sites, with links - and to annoy google make sure that the important news items are mentioned and copied as often as to make the google gag less than useless

Also - maybe Uruknet could use the Digg.com and other news indexes - these sites hate google anyway and can really get the news around.

WikiLeaks.Org had big problems recently becuase it was taken offline by a California court order - but the whole internet comunity went up in arms to get them WikiLeaks and the guys behind that block were Much bigger than google and Microsoft put together.

Google is just another government whore on a short leash. The government is interested in keeping the truth hidden. . .as if that's even possible any more, hence Google basically bends over and hands the government the bar of soap.

Good enough analogy? Our surf engine is set to Yahoo.

I wonder what BARABIE the slanderer has to say about Joogle censoring Uruknet.

The best thing we can do is ignore google... Just imagine the Zionist owners having their face red because people don't give a shit about them or are no longer Dependant on them.

It would be funny... Just ignore google switch to yahoo or whatever post links to uruknet every where...

And make an independent website that stores all the important websites then spread it to all the internet so no one can shut it down or censor it...

Dear Layla,

It is not only Uruknet that the Yahoos and Googles of this world are blocking, they are also blocking all new Iranian email users.

This only points to the following that we need to start our own interlinking via our own blogs and that we need to keep regular, up to date, backups on hard disks in order to be able to put them back online asap.

If you have not noticed, Liveleak is also only posting the heroics of Bush warriors on their site while the resistance victories are reased asap and the same goes for You Tube.

I think you blog is a very powerful forum and written litany against the Iraqi Genocide but it would improve dramatically if you started linking it to posts on the internet showing the resistance as well as the suffering of the Iraqi civilians as well as the collaborators be it Iranian, -Iraqi, -Jordanian, -Turkish or -Kurdish sort.

I also have to mention that I have been harrassed at my work by three tugs. Considering that I work in a medical environement that prides itself for its diversity and plurality, it is rather an interesting experience.

Apparently, the Bushites across the continents, in this case Australia, UK and USA, have decided that they can not trust their Middle Eastern physicians and have instituted a simulation center for "testing" their physicians based on their ethnic background and their reponses in scenarios involving wounded veterans or ex-soldiers in different medical condition in order to detect whether they get mediocre care on purpose.

This ludicreous scheme is so retarded that only a second rate alcoholic Yale drop out could have approved it as most of the time the "simulators" are caught off guard and you can detect their disengeniousness.

I also have to mention that one of the nurses I got to know is a mercenary who is going to Northern Iraq because his child is an authistic child and he can not afford his care.

Dear Layla, I would like to recommend the following article ( http://www.alternet.org/waroniraq/88990/ ) in regards to the creation of Anglo-based world wide web of mercenaries to murder and silence dissidents across the borders. In analogy with Doctors Without Borders, I would call them Murderers Without Borders. We need to be vigilant and prosecute these individuals.

I had in the past the same problems with Google and Technorati on my blog. I had even sent a complain email but no answer so far so I just gave up. I think I was deactivated from the whole search engines.
For the emails between the middle-east and the US, be careful they are filtered, and I think that they are even blocking some IPs coming from Iran.
Yahoo also tried to remove the name of Iran from its list of sign up countries.

@ amir:

Thank you for all your information.

Indeed, the problem is far wider than it would first appear:

§1. The high-quality Iraqi sites (such as HEYET Net, IAI Site, Voices of Iraq) have
never got the google indexing for their headlines to this date. Therefore widely
circulated Iraq news is not actually Iraq news proper – but second-hand corporate
media stuff with a delighting anti-war voices freelancing over.

§2. So to confirm this Newsdesk Helsinki Finland (NDHF) Net has studied the HEYET
Net (AMSI) coverage from the 10.3.2008 on, and reached the same outcome: The Iraqi
Resistance coverage – despite coming under the United Nations, Europe, Finland in
our address - does not get the Google News indexing either.

§3. The reason for Uruk Net losing the google news indexing in April goes all the
way back to ground in Iraq as well. The most recent US-Iranian “Maliki-offensive” in
Mosul turned out to be a conspiracy targeting the Baath Party (via Iranian
Peshmerga) instead (they used once again the old member lists for arrests):

§a. The pro-occupation forces tried to detain Mr Al-Douri but failed to do so:
A statement on the Occupiers' and their puppets' hallucinations about detaining
Mujahid Izzat Ibrahim Al Duri

§b. Soon after that an important Baath Party Statement arrived:
Mosul' carnage is a grave link in the genocidal chain which will inflame the
Resistance in the face of the Occupiers and their stooges!

§c. That Baath is solidly against the occupation was recently confirmed by the AMSI
to which the Kurdistan Freedom and Justice party sent the following message:
Kurdistan Freedom and Justice Party Sends Condolences

§d. Previous is important, because in the most recent statements leader of the Baath
Party Mr Al-Douri with close ties to the northern Iraq speaks praisingly of the
Kurdistan Freedom and Justice Party (cf. e.g. the bottom of the following wire):
Five Years on, Saddam’s Successor Resurfaces. Addouri Outlines Anti-U.S. Strategy,
Tactics of Resistance

§e. Passing the Baath party detainees to Iranians continues:
Iraqi official: US transfers 8 former Saddam Hussein regime figures to Iraqi control
No supposed improvements of the situation of the Baathists has been set up (taken
that these were improvement at all in the first place):
Iraq law on Baathists not being implemented
Everyone’s in the same boat that is...
§4. Therefore the problem is far broader than it might look at the first sight: to
add this there is now the Iranian email as well as the LiveLeak & YouTube scam as

Uruknet’s censorship, a recognized supporter of the Baath party is a part of the Baath censorship which is part of the censorship
targeting the AMSI (HEYET Net), United Nations (NDHF Net), Iranians (email), videos and everything.

Practically every US/Israel/Iranian/Turkish/Jordanian (Occupation) cybermedia is in
it: Google, Yahoo, LiveLeak, YouTube, Alexa, and so on...

They have much of the western media in their control as you may read from here:

Occupation of Iraq is occupation of Iraq war cyberspace too.

Maryam, I cannot know if NDHF is totally insane or if is a professional disinformer. He/she/it went on and on and on and in accusing the baath party to mass murder and rape innocent iraqis, he/she/it did post his crazy slanders not only on his own blog, but also on many websites' comments sections.

Here you can read one of his/her/its best gems (three months ago):

In the current situation:
(a) this Baath is completely puppeted by al-Maliki and the Iranian murderers behind him link is here,
(b) the “comrades” of President Saddam Hussein having already taken part in the ethnic cleansings of Baghdad and Diyala thus collaborating in the holocaust there and helping occupier in passing these to Iran
(c) the Baath assisting the US now in the 2nd round of the partition program mass murder in the Northern Iraq

[...] The only thing Uruknet’s really providing from inside Iraq is the fucking Baathist traitor deception, whether deceived to that or deliberately is irrelevant.[...] So, here’s the truth about Paola Pisi (and the Uruknet.info in general, including those telling her about “sensitiveness” of certain issues):
She poses as if anti-war, but in truth has collaborated with the baathist traitors all the way from the beginning traitoring on with her baathist buddies. [...] Therefore, in the NDHF Net combat sector the “Baathist” sites are the worst enemies of the Iraqi Resistance just as their “al-Qaida” buddies (often coinciding, “Mr” Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri, the extremist fuck, being simultaneously al-Qaida, Baath and Sahwa merc boss).
[...] Unfortunately, we’re painfully, completely and unforgettably aware that the Baathist dogs (and their female counterparts, the bitches) indeed master English. It is precise this capability in connection with their blind fanatic terrorist state of mind that has enabled the dogs we really speak of here to pose in the cyberspace as if Iraqi Resistance and partake in the US-Israeli-Iranian holocaust of Iraq. In so doing the Baathists in question are personally - and never-mind-official-or-not - responsible for deaths of thousands of Iraqis, the main US “strategy” in Iraq, the true cause of the violence (in addition to the US military build-up, of course) are the racist sectarian pigs, whether Mahdi, Peshmerga, al-Baath-Qaida (renamed “Sahwa” last year).

And this is from Layla's comments section:

NDHF eds said...

Hi, Layla.
Just in case you haven't noticed, the truth about Uruknet c/o Paola Pisi and Baath c/o Izzat Ibrahim Al-Douri available here:
(The plot and action gets thicker and thicker in the comment section so read it slowly and carefully)

As I'm just passing this info to you as a compensation for your neat newsbytes, not propagandizing this through you, you do not have to publish this comment and should you choose not this won't be interpreted in any manner: a personal favor for you knowing no other means to contact you

He/she/it even threatened me to death (HAHAHAHA) beacuse I'd be a baathist whore.

Paola Pisi, just for curiosity:

Why do you collaborate with the occupiers? Do you enjoy Iraqis being slaughtered? And, in addition, and not just for curiosity: Was it you that knew the article sensitive or did someone tell you that, and who was it? To avoid a personal catastrophy, we suggest you to come out and clear with this and soon: the time’s running up. Ta, ta The Cyberspace tracking/assassination detachment for
Newsdesk Helsinki Finland Net, Iraqi Resistance
National Liberation Front of Islamic Iraq

Then he/she/it had a premonitory dream ;-) and changed his/her/its mind http://www.roadstoiraq.com/2008/02/26/israeli-soldier-killed-in-iraq-baathists-invited-to-baghdad/

But he/she/its is still a liar and spams everywhere his/her/its shit, boasting about his/her/its alleged links to the iraqi resistance.
Please, read here:
Google the Matrix - with the media monopoly on search engines - can easily remove (actually filter) the undesired material, and jolly well does so as we’ve “experienced”: No single NDHF Net news wire is available, because we operate under (1) Iraqi Resistance (2) United Nations (3) Finland, Europe.

Maybe NDHF is only a poor lunatic, but he/she/it can be dangerous. And in any case, in my opinion people should simply ignore him/her/it .

By the way, it isn't true that uruknet supports the Baath party: uruknet supports ALL the iraqi resistance groups, baathist and not baathist.

Paola, why are you always so keen on disclaiming your alleged sympathy for the Baath, as if there would be something "sinful" about it ?

You are a learned person and an enlightened one, surely you know that the Baath is the best thing that happened to Iraq and to the Arab nation in the whole modern history.

Every sincere revolutionary, every true humanist, everyone who thirst for dignity and justice everywhere should give his/her unconditional support to the struggle of this great visionary movement - without those hypocritical "yes, but" so dear to the "anti-war" baaing flock.

My best wishes.

I too support all Iraqi Resistance groups, in fact every expression of the Iraqi will for life and survival regardless of the shape and color it may take on.

After all the hero and martyr Saddam Hussein, just like his maitre à penser Aflaq, dreamt of leading Iraq to the point where it could have naturally evolved into a democratic and pluralistic system, and there are more similarities to Voltaire in the Baath thinking than what the blind racist West would be willing to recognize.

Alas, too much plotting and scheming against this dream, from both the inside and the outside, left the Baath alone without any other true patriotic force to work with, all his previous allies having defected to the enemies of Iraq, and obliged Saddam to fall back on a strict one-party rule so to protect the national identity and sovereignty - but it was not what his heart would have wished.

God bless you, Paola, keep up the wonderful work.

I agree, Paola Pisi, is an amazing woman who has been handling Uruknet singlehandedly. Kudos to her.

@ Amir:

Basically, the media situation by and large follows the US-Iranian Iraq Study Group plan.

According to this, the USrael and Iran share the occupation between themselves.

This leaves five parties in the Iraqi political scene, the 2 Kurdish, SCIRI-Badr, Dawa (remnants) and the IIP.

Much of the most recent conspiracy offesives have been just about the resharing the ministery posts and buildings in Iraq, not about any war proper, an internal power clashes and electioning campaigning.

All the others will be contained and/or wiped off.

That leaves all the other parties, especially Iraqi ones with no representation whatsoever in the business the government basically deals with, the momey.

In this sense, all the Iraqis are in the same boat very soon so that the little disagreements mentioned above are things of the past in the ground.

The sole question being instead that of the national survival of the Iraqi people now that the US and Iran are plotting to take over the country with another 4-year occupation round.

The effects of that are then reflected to the media front where the new set-up will cause some confusion, the US and Iran now openly hostile in the cyberspace against all and any opposing their goals for whatsoever reasons.

As a hint: we anticipated that the US-Israel-Iran block would attemptsto delete all the real news by making the reposted wires "unavailable" by the Google search, therefore, instead of reposting these we relink the items under 54 categories under the NDHF Net coverage. In this way the Google cannot delete the NDHF Net news links which become scientifically arranged at the same time.

An example of a such Open Source Center is here:
All the NDHF Net categories will be computerized probably already in this week after which they'll be available as such in this address:

Using this method in the sites you mentioned enables you to preserve your coverage in all and any circumstances and keep your services right on the desktop despite the efforts of the Google News Team war criminals.
