Blogger.com and Google.
Am glad I've been released from blogger.com solitary confinement. I hope that other bloggers will be freed soon, as well...
However, I learned that besides URUKNET being cut off by Google, Axis of Logic has also found itself imprisoned by censorship.
I suppose we can all kiss Freedom of Speech and Google Goodbye...
So am keeping the solitary confinement blog " Arab Woman II - Silent Reflections" just in case...
But please keep perusing this one, until further notice -- if at all and hopefully not.
And a big THANK YOU to all those who gave me their support. Love you all.

I've missed the daily morning visits, although having the other site was good enough under the circumstances. I hope that this won't happen again - wishful thinking, I guess!
Thank you for everything.
In solidarity.
Glad you are in from the cold!

Like any corporation, they are 'expanding'; opening up new markets with the desired consequence of obtaining greater corporate wealth and control.
The US government had their strategists working overtime and then like most corporations, they marketed the invasion and sold it to all the suckers out there.
Like any 'good' TV, radio or internet commercial does when they are trying to seel their product, they try to instill a fear; " Use our skin product if you really want to clear up your acne ", or, " if yer not using our oil then yer car's engine may be losing performance and may lead to engine breakdown" or "use our toothpaste to prevent tooth decay".
When companies advertise they know how to play on people's fears. This causes a 'need'.They have it down to a science literally. And those that fear, will buy into the ad and what they're selling.
Iraqi children's lives have been destroyed beyond imagination. An entire generation (maybe two or three) will be psychologically traumatised; thousands of children have been orphaned; husbands killed; homes destroyed; Iraqis have had to escape to neighbouring countries where they languish; an absence of basic services... and Disney wants to get in. Everything lies in tatters because of these barbarians... And the man whose idea it is has stated that it's 'not for the love of Iraqis but for profit'. And the stupid Iraqi 'government' stooges fawn over him. What could be more disgusting?
My fervent prayer goes up that Iraqi Resistance, together with all Iraqis, does not allow a single brick to go up towards this evil plan and that no Disneyland ever goes up in Iraq. All Iraqis should boycott this and schools need to seriously speak to all Iraqi children that it would not be right for them to patronise this dump, if ever it goes up. It should stand only as a monument of SHAME and DEFEAT for the US.
Remember the early days when the savage in the white house told the world 'when Iraqis stood up, the US would stand down', among so many other lies? And they now want to convert Iraq into a US image ... FAT CHANCE.
Long live Iraqi Resistance - may you have the strength to drive this garbage out of your land.

It takes a special person to look at paper and see profits, while looking away from a Human Being.
The leaders of this World that enable this are dead-enders.
LD, I think many Americans here think in 'snap-shots'. For whetever reason(s) they dont stop to think 'cause & effect' , 'action & reaction' or think in a way that asks, " Hmm, ok, here we are in this situation and now lets backtrack to try to see how 'we' get in these situations."
The war promoters, profiteers, seekers of wealth that are opportunists have the same 'logic' processes going around in their minds as do convicted criminals.
And they all try to justify their actions.
Personally, I think these opportunistic investors know in the back of their minds that America and most Americans are in trouble; the value of the dollar, job losses in the millions, personal bankruptcies continually on the rise, personal investments declining, taxes WILL BE going up, people losing homes, health coverage..you name it and it probably is happening.
So what have they done? They looked overseas. They ( the US governemnt, corporations, investors ) have sucked America dry and are looking for the new markets of Asia & the MiddleEast. These are the 2 places in the World that are experiencing growth and and according to their logic, will produce profits and make the World all rosey again.
Now if they F'd it up here, why do they think everybody else want this in their country??
The US is like a dying giant.....as it falls it is clinging on everyway imagineable before finally sinking.
The "US" needs the World more than the World needs the US.
It truly is disgusting. everything that is and has happened to Iraq.
Iraq wasn't the first and it may not be the last. Layla is correct when she said that the invasion into Iraq is the most horrific, twisted act of Human behavior the World has witnessed. My words are not exactly what she said but reflect her words.
They used the military to do it.
They lied their way into Iraq and when the lies were exposed thru the whole prcoess, they invented new ones OR broke laws to get in there.
Im sure they viwed Saddam as the obstacle in their way to get in there and start plundering.
They had no intention of ever leaving Iraq.
There's just one thing these dense, brainless savages did not anticipate: the ferocity and determination of the Resistance. Where they'd expected 'flowers and chocolates', they got IEDs, bombs and mortars instead. And this will continue for as long as they stay there - gut feeling tells me that they will NEVER succeed in gaining an inch of Iraq, however long they squat on Iraqi soil. And sooner or later, they will HAVE to leave: Iraqis have all the time in the world; it's their land and their sovereign country. So all the lofty US plans for Iraq will remain - just plans and daydreams.
And, yes, the US has absolutely NOTHING to offer the world, nothing. They do not possess anything of value, not even to the 'developing' world, where, for example, standards of education are far superior to that in the US. And after what's been done to Iraq in full view of the entire world, the US will not be welcome anywhere nor will anyone pay heed to its barking. One needs to note what's going on between China, India and Russia to get an accurate picture.
Little Deer said: "...the ferocity and determination of the Resistance. Where they'd expected 'flowers and chocolates', they got IEDs, bombs and mortars instead."
IEDs
bombs
mortars
Here is the work of your precious resistance you animal little deer - you make me sick - stop cheerleading for criminals.

Shove your filth where the sun does not shine. You are projecting your own faults - what do YOU offer the world?
So many posters here hunger for destruction and torment. So many posters here truly have evil in their hearts. No way is this the fault of the US. Did your father molest you? Did you fail to achieve your own goals and dreams?

don't believe in fairytales to much they become more untrue by the day capitalism lasts.
The education in America is inferior to many other nations. I dont recall America's place on the list but it's down on the list.
Same thing for health care. I think the US falls behind Lithuania in health care.
The fall of the dollar. Well that speaks for itself. The list of countries dropping the dollar is ever growing. Iran shit-canned it last week. Seems like many OPEC nations are talking of dropping the dollar; from the MidEast to Venezueala. :-)
The cost of college tuition here is sky-rocketing while many Americans are struggling to pay bills. On top of it, the education apparently sucks. American companies are importing engineers from China & India. ha..go figure.
America has a ton of problems. Dont let anybody fool ya. Odd thing is,...Black people ( in general ) here have been living in hard times for decades, yet now that hard times have hit White America..oh my! ...something needs to be done !!
Fight the virus LD.
"Asian nations pledged 60 billion" I DONT BELIEVE IT - SHOW YOUR SOURCE
After the Tsunami, the USA gave over 2.6 Billion dollars, over twice as much as the next nation on the list - Australia, and most of it through private charities.
Click on the Government vs Private aid tab
We don't need our government to force us to donate. I personally gave over a hundred dollars. My biggest concern was not the amount but making sure I gave it to a reputable charity that would get it to the victims. I gave it to CRS - Catholic Relief Service. CRS contributed over $190 Million to the Tsunami relief.
CRS does not discriminate in its aid In 2006, CRS was awarded the prestigious Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) honoring the agency's comprehensive and timely response to the devastating October 8, 2005 Pakistan earthquake.
I am debating whether to give money for the Burma cyclone. Who knows if the "socialist dictatorship" there will let the aid through or if the military will raid the relief aid as it did in Somalia.
Is anyone here donating? Let's do something positive for a change. I will make you a deal - if just one person on this forum donates up to 100 dollars to your favorite charity for Burma, I will donate the same to my favorite charity as well.

The Resistance - those responsible for the most US troop deaths - are Al Qaeda in Iraq"
Hahaha, Greg the smelly mental castrato ameronazi psychopath...
Here's a good example of how they are "better" than us at something.
Notice in "The Mother of all Battles" you can see Layla (& the Arab psyche) must have experienced sheer rapture at the horror and terror that was inflicted on Israeli civilians (like children) during the first gulf war? They are proud of it and obviously experience great pleasure from the thought of children in gas masks huddled in basements hiding from scuds!!!
...and then they tell us we are the ones who refuse to look into our dark hearts.
Always keep on thing in the back of your mind Greg, all these people here worship a psychopathic torturer & murderer as a Saint. As upside down as that is, can you ever expect them to see Americans as actual real-life decent, kind people?
In Solidarity
greg you typically dumb ignorant yankee moron, it was only AFTER Australia had pledged $1 billion dollars and the yanks had only pledged something like $100 million at that stage, that the world started speaking about the "wealthiest nation" only donating so LITTLE that the yankee morons increased their pledge.
Btw, what the yankee government gave was $65 million LESS than Australia, a country consisting of 20 million people.
roflmao if it wasn't so sad.
My mistake, LESS = MORE
:)
Please tell me which country HAD "freedom of speech" in the FIRST place????
American woman, thanks! So much better than I could say it. It felt like I was all alone here and I was losing the will to argue - thanks for your Solidarity.
Also:
"Always keep on thing in the back of your mind Greg, all these people here worship a psychopathic torturer & murderer as a Saint. As upside down as that is, can you ever expect them to see Americans as actual real-life decent, kind people?"
It must sound odd to hear me talk to the posters on this message board like people. There are a lot of reasons why, but one is that if we want them to be polite, and then some, we need to set up that expectation. I expect the posters here to soften their stance. I expect some of them to change their minds. I expect them to talk politely. I expect a cold day in hell, and I know that day will come.
barabie,
"what the yankee government gave was $65 million LESS than Australia, a country consisting of 20 million people."
Yep, the Australians are yet another Anglo country giving generously.
Anyone want to take me up on that offer to donate for the Burma cyclone?
Greg from USA
Well, no. We don't worship Bush, or look up to him as a 'Saint', even though he does have personal chats with God. The fact that God actually answer's him, obviously weigh's heavily on American minds, with his approval rating down to 71%.
I reciprocate: Can we ever expect Americans to see Iraqi's as actual real-life decent, kind people"? I doubt it.
As for your comment on kids, American woman, go see your 'Therapist', you sick, sick, creature.
Shock, horror! Tt's only Americans who know how to work hard? The rest of the world doesn't have a clue. Get over yourself.
Greg from usa: Since December 2004my family has been sending $200 per month, via Ninevah to help homeless and displaced Iraqi / Assyrian Christians.
Maybe you lot could send us all a refund? Call it out of pocket expenses due to mass murder courtesy of Bush.

If it was not for the United States' Socialist Programs, there would be much more dead people in America.
So, it's not important to tell anyone what one is doing, nor is there be any reasons for justifications. Doing what should be our moral obligation is not and should not be a contest. Suffice it to say that there must be many posters on this site who are not just 'armchair' contributors, hopefully?
I also never said Americans are the only ones who work hard. The world is full of hard working people. But the fact is, Americans give more of their money away to charity than anyone else. You just don't want to hear anything positive about American people.
If you want a refund for mass murder go ask those doing most of the killing. That would be the Iraqi militias, AL-Q, and the glorious resistance....
Great song - it illustrates what is wrong with Socialism. Many people work hard and achieve whatever they desire, even the moon, and no one can take it away from them because the US protects property rights. Other people wait around for the moon to come to them, and what comes to them is a rat bite.

BULLSHIT!
"The Report notes how the countries of the G7 - the richest industrial countries - dominate the global aid flow. It also notes how the most generous five countries, all above the UNs target of 0.7% GNI, are all small countries - Norway, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands who have all "consistently met or surpassed the UN target". Japan has only recently fallen to such a low position (third from the bottom), nearly as stingy as the USA."
Now WHAT were you barking about yankee generosity????
ROFLMAO typical yankee moron.
And the yankee moron said ""But the fact is, Americans give more of their money away to charity than anyone else." ROFLMAO
Get an education FIRST before you bark.
I just needed to highlight the above for our yankee moron.
Notice how Myanmar is not allowing US aid to get into their country despite the catastrophe caused by the cyclone? Sensible, I would think. USans are foaming at the mouth, their leader included. Because it's never aid, in the end - it's big business with USans drooling over how they can make MORE profits at the expense of others' misery. Iraq is a fine example of this, except they did the destroying as well.
If that "aid" came with strings attached, like it would, then it is very sensible of them.
What i find interesting is that israhell receives much much MUCH more "aid" per year from the yanks than the rest of the world COMBINED but yet israhell does NOT have that "aid" tied.
ps: i HATE word verification.
Wouldn't be such a problem if the god damn font was readable. grrrrrrrrr
Typical yankee stupidISM!
Btw moron, not everyone who catches a fish is proud, in fact i was so upset when i caught one that i never fished again.
That was really funny, Barabie!
As for Myanmar, they have every reason to be cautious about letting the US into their sovereign land, particularly after what's happened recently. In the developing world, not every 'aid' organisation's goal is altruistic - some work under the umbrella of 'aid' but have a completely opposite agenda - that of causing discord within a nation at grassroot level, where they have easy access. And you know which country has the reputation for that.
If you do not like that fact, well, you live in a 'democracy' so vote for a change. :-)
I agree with LD & Barabie. Take the tsunami that hit a few years ago that came from a quake off the coast of an Indonesian island.
