There is no topic that can stir as much controversy as that of Saddam Hussein....amazing when you think about it....The man, the president has been dead for over 4 years now...but still....his name enrages and stirs even the most subdued.... Some people absolutely hate him and some absolutely love him and some compare and contrast....the before and the after.... I personally have no problem with Saddam Hussein....as a person and as a leader...I was never a Baathist, I never belonged to any party --- am too independent in my head to be accepted by anyone, let alone a party... None of my family were members of the Baath either....we always distanced ourselves from mass movements -- not so much out of elitism, we just never felt the need to carry a membership card... And even though some in my family were strong sympathizers of the Iraqi Communist Party -- I personally always kept my distance.... I know some Iraqis blame Saddam Hussein and the Baath for EVERY THING that went wro...

I had to go through the motions of watching that despicable character, the chief driller, head rapist and ethnic cleanser of Baghdad, Muqtada A-Sadr being interviewed on Al-Jazeera by Ghassan Ben Jedu. This is an important post. For those who are truly interested or care about Iraq, I ask you to take the time to read it carefully and not gobble it down in 2 mn. I keep reading articles about the torture that went on and still goes on in Iraq and Afghanistan, Guantanamo and all other shadow prisons...in Eastern Europe, in Middle East and in Africa... And the question is always did the americans, canadians, english coalition authorities know about it ?  Did they all receive direct orders, did they engage and participate in it too, was it a policy, how widespread was it..etc etc... BULLSHIT QUESTIONS. And all act oh so shocked....us the americans, us the canadians, us the english,  us the poles, us whoever the fuck it is who is there.... Could it be ? YES IT CAN BE The torture was/is not only policy.....in which you engaged....the torture is ALSO a reflection of your HATRED, your RACISM....in other words even if there was no policy for it, you would have still engaged in it..... You really need to face facts --- you hate Arabs, you hate Muslims and at any given opportunity you will not shun ...

Had the misfortune of watching the interview with the american terrorist in Baghad, C.Hill, ambassador of the united states on Al-Jazeera. Again, I find myself obliged, to transcribe parts of the interview, in Arabic. But first, I would like to say that the Iraqi interviewer on this program --Layla Al-Sheikhly was BRILLIANT. She had complete self mastery, she did not let him get away with ducking questions, she was firm and straightforward. My kind of Iraqi woman ! Watching an american terrorist being interviewed on the day of the fall of Baghdad is not easy for me. Again I found myself torn between a cold rage and hot tears of grief...americans are the MOST disgenuine "people" around. I will never cease repeating that. In other words, americans are a nation based on DECEIT and LIES. YOU ARE THE PEOPLE OF THE LIE. Watching an american terrorist say that the price was well worth it, after 7 years of a ravaging destruction, that has erased Iraq and its people, into a back...

Just finished watching the Al-Jazeera documentary on the assassinations of Iraq's brains - academics, scientists, medical doctors, researchers, thinkers....For some of their names, check an old post of mine called Brain Dead . There are different versions to as who is behind the wave of assassinations targeting Iraq's top. One thing is absolutely sure, is that there is a DELIBERATE cover up of who is really behind it. And whistle blowers are known to be eliminated too in the process... The official Iraqi government version is --- The Baathists murdered their own and there was revenge from the Iraqi people, settling accounts with the previous regime. (2 very contradictory statements and why would Iraqi people take revenge on a medical doctor or a lecturer ?) A few from this malignant government were interviewed. So called top people ranging from colonels in the police, to the ministry of interior to spokesmen from the current evil government of shiite sectarian vampires....
