Alarm Bells.

What a drag it is to constantly write about misery and suffering.
Yes, it has become tedious, boring, repetitive, tiresome...
Either I am incapable of seeing anything else, or there is nothing else to see...
Whatever the case, one does not get used to so much human pain, angst and distress.

The Oxford linguistic group in charge of updating their English Oxford dictionary and Thesaurus ought to come up with new wordings and new definitions, specifically tailored to the tragedy of the Iraqis.

Whichever word I use does not adequately describe what Iraqis are going through.
Either my English is very limited, or the English language itself is very limited or you are just a thick skinned, callous bunch of "people"... Probably a combination of all three.

One calamity after another has befallen a whole people. I am not even sure you are capable of understanding, comprehending, assimilating the extent, the magnitude, the impact of it...

When I see what I see, hear what I hear and feel what I feel, I can fully understand why someone who is not older than 25 years old goes and explodes himself.

Take for instance Iraqi refugees. Exiled, displaced and have lost EVERYTHING. Do you understand what EVERYTHING means ?

Those presently in Syria will not be having their residency permit renewed. It is now official. They are to leave Syrian territory and will HAVE to go back to Iraq.
Not only that, but the new law stipulates that no Iraqi can enter Syria without a Visa. That's it. The borders are now closed and open one way, only.
Go back "home", we are told. Total panic amongst the Iraqis in Syria in particular the SUNNIS.

That was part of the deal that the criminal Iranian sectarian thug PM Al-Maliki struck with the Syrian Bashar Al-Assad.

Read it again : IRAQI REFUGEES ARE TO RETURN BACK TO IRAQ. AND A SYRIAN VISA IS NOW COMPULSORY.

And check this out : The only ones allowed to remain in Syria are Iraqi Doctors, scientists, teachers, nurses, engineers... i.e qualified people. Remember the deliberate policy of Brain Drain and you will understand the full implications.
Think, use those grey cells...please.

What all this means is very simple. Hurl back the sheep back to the slaughter house for more ethnic cleansing.

It means more extermination of Sunnis. Seems that the FASCIST shia sectarian militias from Iran have run out of Sunnis to finish off in Baghdad. The drills are getting rusty ?

Why do I see more CARNAGE? Oh my God! Oh my God!

I am sure Shias will be allowed to remain in Syria, remember the Syrian Allawite regime and its affinity to Iran. Is that why Muqtada al Sadr froze the activities of his militias for 6 months ? (even though more tortured dead bodies show up daily in Baghdad streets). Is that the plan - keeping the Americans very busy in more sectarian carnage to fend off a possible attack on Iran? Is that why Ahmadinajad said that the U.S is in no position to attack Iran?

More sheep to slaughter for the Eid like they did on the 30th December 2006 ?

Oh my God! You need to act NOW !

You need to organize yourselves and you need to get involved fully and STOP this CARNAGE NOW!
Send delegations to Syria and Jordan. Come and see for yourselves. You need to ACT NOW.

After all it is because of your government, your "people" who voted for it, even the "people" of your so called "opposition", that we are in this predicament.

YOU MUST ACT NOW!

Unless of course you happen to be one of Bremer's partisans who wants to bring down the Iraqi population to 5 to 6 million.

Layla, for IRAQ's sake, don't fall into the trap of adopting the friggin colonialistic ghetto terminology "Sunni" and "Shia".

Keep always in your mind that this is NOT a civil strife among Iraqis, either religious or ethnic, but an ideological struggle between PERSIAN reactionary imperialism and ARAB revolutionary nationalism.

Take care, resist and be victorious.

I wish I had some clue as to what action would actually make a difference. I don't think I need to go to Syria, I am doing everything I can think of to raise funds for Iraqi refugees right now. Including selling stuff and furniture from my home.

It might help if the US corporate media went to Syria and Jordan and actually reported on what is going on - but I have no idea how to get them to act like journalists. In 2002, 2003 and 2004, I wrote thousands of emails to individual journalists, hundreds of letters and phone calls, and I cannot see where it made any difference.

I am returning to DC this month (I hate the place) to lobby and protest - this will be my eighth trip since bush was re-elected. I have done hundreds, no thousands, of things, and I don't know what works because so far, NOTHING HAS.

I often use you blog posts on Iraq Today blog

http://warnewstoday.blogspot.com

I write up blog posts for Daily Kos - the most popular blog for the "liberals" - about Iraq and it barely gets read. I did one on cholera this week........

Found out tonight that Amnesty International is starting a program where one American adopts an Iraqi refugee, and I will sign up for that. An Iraqi girl is coming to my town this month via NO MORE VICTIMS, which provides medical care to Iraqi kids while increasing American awareness - and I am the organizer behind that (getting lots of help).

Katie Couric (CBS News) just announced that Fallujah is a peaceful success.

Any ideas on what exactly we should do?

Dear Ms. Anwar,

I read of your urgent call to action in these monstrous times, particularly as the genocide mounts…I have not been reading your blog a long time, nor have I had a chance to read through its archives, so what I have to say maybe old news, something already in process or gone through.

Images are the one thing that will grab the psyche. That’s what brought the Vietnam war to a halt. It’s TV coverage. It is also why there is a concerted and effective effort to censor, limit, and suppress all news from Iraq, particularly of its consequences to the Iraqi People. I do not understand how doctors and medical associations around the world are not taking out full page ads in every american city to denounce violence and war. That goes for every professional discipline that ought to know better and scream their outrage from every media outlet. But they don’t. They too are war profiteers and take implicit joy in the suffering of others…their bread and butter. Or they would act.

There are some video/film makers that do what they can. Here are a couple of websites you may already know of: robertgreenwald.org. … buzzflash.com/antiwar2.html … theworldcantwait.net … Perhaps you could provide them with a proposal, or an avenue into the heart of this suffering so they can do what they do best. Guerilla media…photography, video, film, billboards…some way to infiltrate the corporate media propaganda machine that has hypnotized people into complaisant agreement and impotent will. These, and others who they link to are specialists in this area…

America can no longer respond or recognize reality…that is to say, we are already the land of the living dead, tranquilized, diseased, polluted, and illiterate. That’s the problem, we are a heartless, mindless, lobotomized nation unable to save even ourselves…there has to be an intervention that somehow generates enough attention to bring about the end…a way to actually force the imagery of this insane war into peoples eyes. Our children are not raised on poetry, but on a thousand violent deaths a day on TV and in movies..So something on that scale has to be done to gain any sort of reaction from the callous and impersonal nature of the american soul..like pouring tens of thousands of pictures of war's horror from city rooftops…for example….on buses, trains, planes, Starbuck bathrooms…that’s all I can think of, at the moment.
I am so sorry, so ashamed of my country and what it has done to the world and to itself and each other…all so senseless, needless, and blind.

Layla, it is not over. It will not be over till we say it is over.

Everything will be as it should. History has a funny way of working out.

And, lest the fucking American warmongers have not had enough, history does not let us forget.

Thank you, De Palma. But how many Americans WILL watch this film?

And how many Iraqi traitors will even speak Abeer's name?

"Redacted" stuns Venice
Fri Aug 31, 2007 11:03 AM ET

By Silvia Aloisi

VENICE (Reuters) - A new film about the real-life rape and killing of a 14-year-old Iraqi girl by U.S. soldiers who also murdered her family stunned the Venice festival, with shocking images that left some viewers in tears.

"Redacted", by U.S. director Brian De Palma, is one of at least eight American films on the war in Iraq due for release in the next few months and the first of two movies on the conflict screening in Venice's main competition.

Inspired by one of the most serious crimes committed by American soldiers in Iraq since the 2003 invasion, it is a harrowing indictment of the conflict and spares the audience no brutality to get its message across.

De Palma, 66, whose "Casualties of War" in 1989 told a similar tale of abuse by American soldiers in Vietnam, makes no secret of the goal he is hoping to achieve with the film's images, all based on real material he found on the Internet.

"The movie is an attempt to bring the reality of what is happening in Iraq to the American people," he told reporters after a press screening.

"The pictures are what will stop the war. One only hopes that these images will get the public incensed enough to motivate their Congressmen to vote against this war," he said.

Abeer Qasim Hamza al-Janabi was gang raped, killed and burnt by American soldiers in Mahmudiya, south of Baghdad, in March 2006. Her parents and younger daughter were also killed.

Five soldiers have since been charged with the attack. Four of them have been given sentences of between 5 and 110 years.

"IT'S ALL ON THE INTERNET"

Halfway between documentary and fiction, "Redacted" draws on soldiers' home-made war videos, blogs and journals and footage posted on YouTube, reflecting changes in the way the media cover the war.

"In Vietnam, when we saw the images and the sorrow of the people we were traumatizing and killing, we saw the soldiers wounded and brought back in body bags. We see none of that in this war," De Palma said.

"It's all out there on the Internet, you can find it if you look for it, but it's not in the major media. The media is now really part of the corporate establishment," he said.

The film's title refers to how, according to De Palma, mainstream American newspapers and television channels are failing to tell the true story of the war by keeping the most graphic images of the conflict away from public opinion.

"When I went out to find the pictures, I said (to the media) give me the pictures you can't publish," he said, adding that because of legal dangers he too had to "edit" the material.

"Everything that is in the movie is based on something I found that actually happened. But once I had put it in the script I would get a note from a lawyer saying you can't use that because it's real and we may get sued," De Palma said.

"So I was forced to fictionalize things that were actually real."

The film, shot in Jordan with a little known cast, ends with a series of photographs of Iraqi civilians killed and their faces blacked out for legal reasons.

"I think that's terrible because now we have not even given the dignity of faces to this suffering people," De Palma said.

"The great irony about Redacted is that it was redacted."

Distributor Magnolia has planned a limited U.S. release for later this year, and the film may be easier to sell to European audiences rather than to the American public.

"This is a harrowing experience you put the audience through. It is not something you want to go to on a delightful Saturday evening but this message must be put forward and hopefully the public will respond," De Palma said.

THERE IS ONLY RESISTANCE. JOIN IT, SUPPORT IT, OR BE PURGED BY IT.

History demands this.

Sorry Layla, but it's not going to happen!
How would you expect the people of the US to act in behalf of Iraq when they can't even act to save their own fledging freedom.
In fact this people have been enslaved for a long time... see, the upper echelon of this society is too busy making money, and as you know, Iraq is a gold mine (all war is, really), the middle class, what is left of it, they are in debt and therefore live in a state of fright, terrified of rocking the boat in case they loose their job and their source of income witch they desperately need to keep on paying the bills... and the poor, (a good third of the population) they are basically too busy trying to stay alive, and unfortunately many of those "brave boys" as you call them come precisely from that segment of the population... trying to "better" themselves, what ever it takes... Orders will be obeyed in the military, and the "social order" is also religiously obeyed, so...

I am sorry, but in fact it's so unbelievable what is happening in Iraq, and so unbelievable that the rest of the world will do nothing about it. It is, I am afraid, a new low for humanity.

Hi Layla,

The refugee crisis is at critical point. I know this for a fact, as some of my own are in Syria, we are trying to get them visas. The wait is months and months and there is no guarantee.

The family supports the crisis by sending money to Nineveh Magazine, who in turn distributes it where it is needed most.

We do what we can, when we can.

About time your PM was deposed, and exposed for what he really is.

Layla, sorry to have to say this, but you are literally talking to the deserts.

Nobody is going to "act", simply because nobody cares.

The only one who cared, you had him among you, and yet many of you were not able to recognize him while alive, only to cry crocodile tears once he was no more.

Shame on the American "gubernator" and on the Persian Pharisees, of course, but much, oh so much more shame on the Arab Judases.

"But we live in an age where dialogue is dismissed and empathy is suspect. We prefer the illusion that we can dictate events through force. It hasn’t worked well in Iraq. It hasn’t worked well in Afghanistan. And it won’t work in Iran. But those who once tried to reach out and understand, who developed expertise to explain the world to us and ourselves to the world, no longer have a voice in the new imperial project. We are instead governed and informed by moral and intellectual trolls.

To make rational decisions in international relations we must perceive how others see us. We must grasp how they think about us and be sensitive to their fears and insecurities. But this is becoming hard to accomplish. Our embassies are packed with analysts whose main attribute is long service in the armed forces and who frequently report to intelligence agencies rather than the State Department. Our area specialists in the State Department are ignored by the ideologues driving foreign policy. Their complex view of the world is an inconvenience. And foreign correspondents are an endangered species, along with foreign coverage.

We speak to the rest of the globe in the language of violence. The proposed multibillion-dollar arms supply package for the Persian Gulf countries is the newest form of weapons-systems-as-message. U.S. Undersecretary of State
R. Nicholas Burns was rather blunt about the deal. He told the International Herald Tribune that the arms package “says to the Iranians and Syrians that the United States is the major power in the Middle East and will continue to be and is not going away.”

The Bases Are Loaded

Will the U.S. ever leave Iraq? Official policy promises an eventual departure, while warning of the dire consequences of a "premature" withdrawal. Independent journalist Dahr Jamail, and author Chalmers Johnson, are discovering that military bases in Iraq are being consolidated from over a hundred to a handful of "megabases" with lavish amenities.

I find I am very angry that the Syrians have done this to the Iraqis. Arab against Arab is wrong. Dreadfully wrong.

Again, I see your rage and pain, and I feel the same. No, there are not more or diferent words to use. Carnage is carnage. And that is what is happening every moment in Iraq. And now the refugees must go home!!!

You are correct. They are killing Iraq. And I weep for Iraq.

Layla, we the people can do NOTHING. Your country is devastated, ours are being destroyed in a different way.

We are powerless to do anything now. Well, unless everybody woke and said enough! But that won't happen yet.

An American I really admire is sure that the best thing for Iraq is that it is divided into three!!! Just exactly what Israel and the US want! I explained to him that Iran already had most of southern Iraq, and that true Iraqis did NOT want it split up! It was a first world country until we got our hands on it for goodness sake!!! You cannot break a country up into three and expect them all to have the standards Saddam Hussein gave the Iraqi people. You just cannot.

My heart breaks for Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, all the countries OUR leaders have stuffed up. But if what goes around comes around I don't like our chances in the future.

Tonight I'm angry. Bush is in our country, in Sydney, after rushing over to yours to look good, and Sydney is now in lockdown until this AIPEC thing is over. And guess what! We are NOT allowed to protest. A few do, but quietly. The police get tough - even here.

However, Howard will be having a ball. He's with his "best mate". And I DESPISE THEM BOTH SO MUCH!

Hello.
Well, you guessed right.
Iraq's occupation is a fait accompli in most Arab minds, even though they do not like it. But liking it or not liking it is really besides the point. Is it not?

Let us face the music, but you do it alone so I hear. After all, you guys can't get along..so it seems.

Fait accompli on the ground is the following:

Iran is in the middle of Baghdad.
We have a new Teheran. Women need to veil, christian, muslim or even from zulu land. Veil is a must.
American military bases are mushrooming all over the place and they do not intend to go anywhere else.
So is the American embassy...
The average arab layperson is too busy making a living. No more headaches he/she cries out. Yes it is haram what is happening but I can't do much about it.
Some are not even that generous.
Iraqis are a burden, they need to sort their problems out so I hear.
Parroting the american admin verbiage...
The arab street is divided really.
There are those who are cigar carriers and rolex watches carriers running after the 1 million dollar deal and the others who are just going about their business making ends meet.

Over 7 wars in less than 40 years has had its toll...
After all, Europe still moans of the after effects of War World II till this very day...

Back to the reality and the present: what of your Iraqi Baath party ? It is said to be pulling the strings of the patriotic armed struggle against both the Americans and the Iranians. Do you think that its message still appeals to the non-Iraqi Arab masses, even if only in the secret of their hearts, and that a military victory in Iraq could trigger off a general revolution ? Again, I may be only a naive idealist, but I can't help loving your nation and believing in its enormous potential, and really can't bring myself to declare it doomed...

If you heard that General Mike Jackson referred to the US handling of the occupation as being "interlectually banckrupt", not surprising when you have a convicted fraudster, running the show.

The interlect of the occupation has also been demonstrated by the fact that they were hunting for "WMD's", "Soddom Husssain" and the country they were invading was called "Eye-rack", does anybody know what this means?

The issue is not with you Layla, nor has it ever been with what you are writing but when you have the likes of Cindy sheehan running around after "the first democratically elected Prime Minister" Mr. Maliki, after her son was "KIA", is it any wonder why the West lacks vision outside of its own inconsistent thought process.

Maybe you should try using Republican and Labour Party language so that many in the UK and US might understand, "the war in Eye-rack is not lovely", "killing people is inappropriate" and "lets discuss this in a manner that we can find a peaceful resolution".

I dedicate this song to the British Troops in Basra.

Dear Layla,

Why is resistance NOT futile? Why is Iraqi resistance legitimate?

And why is it that resistance will free Iraq?

Because those who have imposed war on us are racist, barbaric, and simply do not care about the sanctity and value of human life.

Particularly when that life belongs to Arabs and Middle Easterners. Iraqis, for example.

Which is why it is all the more boggling (is it really, tho?) that we hear Bush say

"We're kicking ass".

Mashallah, what a way to speak of democracy, peace and stability.

Thank God, then, for people like Olberman:

And there it is, sir. We’ve caught you.

Your goal is not to bring some troops home — maybe — if we let you have your way now;

Your goal is not to set the stage for eventual withdrawal;

You are, to use your own disrespectful, tone-deaf word, playing at getting the next Republican nominee to agree to jump into this bottomless pit with you, and take us with him, as we stay in Iraq for another year, and another, and another, and anon.

Everything you said about Iraq yesterday, and everything you will say, is a deception, for the purpose of this one cynical, unacceptable, brutal goal — perpetuating this war indefinitely.

War today, war tomorrow, war forever!

And you are playing at it!

2) Just as the sectarian shias in govt do not represent you, the Al Qaeda does not represent me or my sect either. Besides which, unlike yourself, I have no sect. Just for your info.

3) A short lesson in Politics 101

a) Al Qaeda is a terrorist organization that is not institutionalized in the state apparatus.

b) the sectarian shia militias and their political representatives ARE THE CURRENT "IRAQI" GOVT.

4) FACTS

a) There has been and there is A DELIBERATE GOVT POLICY OF ETHNIC CLEANSING against the Sunnis carried out by the Iraqi police, the govt militias, Sadr, Maliki, Badr, Chalabi and Co. No need to list them for you, since they belong to your sect, you would know them better.

b) According to Western Press Reports and - I suppose in your dictionary, the Western press is ALSO Al-Qaeda...
-The majority of those exiled, displaced, ARE SUNNIS

- The majority of the detainees in both American and Iraqi prisons are SUNNIS and they have been there for years without trial.

- Those who are living in Enclaves under siege and behind high thick walls are SUNNIS.

- Those who have been sacked from their employement, harrassed and rendered unemployed are majority SUNNIS.

- The majority of the bodies found drilled, bearing signs of extreme torture and dumped are SUNNIS.

- Those who falsify ther ID cards and change their names from Omar, Othman or Bakr into more acceptable names ARE SUNNIS.

- Those who conceal their identity and hang pictures of shia imams on their walls are SUNNIS.

-Those who had their mosques burned down and them inside of it are SUNNIS.

- Neighborhoods who were mixed have become all shia and those who were forcibly driven out by the Govt and its militias are SUNNIS.

- Basrah and other cities had mixed sects and religions. Now Basrah is all SHIA location, and those who were driven out were SUNNIS and Christians.

- Ministries, education, works, municipalities, trade, interior, etc...are all governed by SHIAS and Sunnis are excluded from them.

And I can go on and on but it seems that your SECTARIAN nature prevents you from seeing all the above. So you resort to the cheapest, vilest cliche taught to you by your masters, that of insinuating that " your going down the path of al Qaeda."

Neurotic Iraqi Wife.

Seems your neurosis has taken the better of you and seems you have forgotten that it is the shias in Iraq who have turned sectarian by voting for their sects above their country. I am sure you remember the famous ink filled finger that you all so proudly presented to the world.

Or maybe living in the Green Zone has irretrievably impaired your vision.

A piece of advice from me. Stick to what you know best.

Wow, you missed the whole point I made. I rest my case. There is no point in trying. I am Iraqi before being a shia or a sunni or what have you. If I was soooo sectarian as you claim, how the hell did i marry a sunni,lol...Sometimes people make laugh at their ignorance...

If you read my posts, Im against the govt and this war...Instead of being short sighted, I advise you to get YOUR facts straight..

Im not waiting for a reply from you. I will just continue reading your posts, and laugh if I want to, or cry, depends...

To the woman living in the GREEN ZONE (GZ):

Do you expect anyone to take what you say as credible?

You work for the occupation, your bread and butter is derived of the occupation, you are protected by the occupation and you are housed among the occupation.

And in return, you support the occupation, you look the other way while the occupation rapes Iraq.

You are Iraqi by name. You do not share in the suffering of people you claim are your own.

You hear explosions, but they are far removed from the little paradise you bask in.

Are you happy Iraq is rid of Saddam? Are you better off now that Saddam is gone?

If so, then go live among Iraqis, not among the occupier. Go and revel in the democracy that it has wrought. Go live in any of the mixed Shia-Sunni neighborhoods.

Oh, wait, none of these exist. There are no more mixed neighborhoods. They have been ethnically cleansed by the government your occupier has installed.

You are happy Saddam is gone and any semblance of the former Iraq is gone because you would have never, ever set foot in Iraq again.

Come on, do you really, really think your type is unknown to other Iraqis? You leave Iraq in the 50s, 60s or 70s citing some oddball political persecution when the real name of the game is your father and his comrades sought power, or supported someone who embezzled. So you wait for the old government to be ousted so you can come and usurp what you can.

There are thousands of you. Your type is known.

So, you earn dollars off the misery of "your" people. Nearly 5 million of "your" people have been forced out of their homes and are begging on the streets of other countries.

Nearly one million Iraqis have been killed because of the occupation. The blood of these people is on your hands. It is in your blog that you continue to pat on the back of the occupier, support the propaganda that launched this war, destroyed a country, and murdered hundreds of thousands at the hands of the occupation.

The occupation which houses you, feeds you, cleans for you, protects you and bathes you.

Furthermore, you write like someone who has no inkling of what Iraqis suffer.

You write to us of your trips to India and New York and how you wanted a manicure and to start a family and how all of this is distressing for you. How bored you are in the GZ.

If other Iraqis could have your problems.

Americans might buy into this drivel. Other harlots for the occupation might cheer you on because you justify their actions when they sleep with the occupier as you do.

You are a hypocrite and you know you are. But you are forced to write because you have an inferiority complex. You know as an Iraqi you were always worthless in the eyes of the occupier.

Fodder. Playthings to serve and be discarded.

And you want to appease your masters. There have been others like you who spoke openly in public of their disdain for this or that, for their support for the occupation. And then privately spoke to others how they have put on a front to gain access to the UK or the US.

To get scholarships.

Your scholarships were paid for by every drop of innocent Iraqi blood.

There is much innocent Iraqi blood. And you drown in it.

And when all is said and done, and you have finished the raping of Iraq as you pimp out your sisters and your mothers, you will pick yourself up and leave. To work in Sydney, or London, or some other accursed plot of land.

And you will be a nobody. You will be maligned, you will be discriminated against. For being an Arab. For being a Muslim.

No, you could never live in Iraq among "your" own people.

They would tear you apart. And you know they would : )

You have no doubt in your mind that your people would be merciless if they knew how you have whored yourself, your country, and your religion for some shiny new dollars.

Change your name to Whoring Iraqi Wife. That is what you are. The occupier's whore.

You know the name for that in Arabic, don't you?

; )

Amre al Abyad,

Hello, please check the latest posts on Uruknet.info on the Resistance notably the letter by AMSI, Abu Aadvark comment, Roads to Iraq blog and the translation into English...There seems to be a trend towards the unification of the various resistance groups - from what I understood.

I checked the articles and the blogs you recommended. I also got the impression that there is a tendency toward unity. Abou Aardvark, on the other hand, concludes that there is chasm inside and between some resisatnce factions. Nory el-Maliky announced that 14,000 of El-Queda men joined the security forces- that emphasises the news about resistors in Dyallah joining occupation. Also the AMSI cracked down on baathists and Iraq's legitimate government.. Abou Aaradvark reads the current events as an Arab attempt to counter the Persian Penetration of Iraqi instiutions.

Putting the lines together, the claimed American Iraqi cooperation against the El-queda retards might be a tactical manoevre by the resistance- whilst for the Americans it is either a late action to restore balance in Iraq; or else it is just part of a broader plan to fuel sectarian tensions, by arming some sunnis against shiites, which are always used as a pretext for an American extended stay nearby the oil wells. What supports the former is that the Americans, most probably, don't want the fanatic terrorists of Qom to control Iraq. Yet, they would welcome wholeheartedly handing over Iraq to a less radical faction of the Qom vampires. NO one must ever forget that the ultimate goal of this war is put an end to Arab nationalism which is a tremendous potential threat to the current world order for good and tame the sole ram among the Arab sheep.

There must be a sophisticated level of coordination among the resitance factions, in order to be able carry out such a complex maoevre, given the good organizational capabilties of the baathists, that remains a possible explaination . What I am afraid of ,however, is that the chasm might be real, which make it possible that some baathists are trying to get away with something, or simply have a different vision.
The AMSI letter, however, supports the former assumption

All Iraqis must remeber that Arabs lost all their power and wealth and their legitimate place at the forefront of he world because of their vehment clanlike disposition, which translates at a micro and macro level into a staunch attachment to one's values, familly...etc at the expense of the common good.

I am writing you what I think because I want to hear something good from you. The future of my beloved identity , is inevitably dependent on what is going on in Iraq
