No Protector...

This is an old Iraqi folk song called "Che Malee Walee" meaning I have no Walee. Walee means many things...it can mean in its legalistic sense -- someone in charge of, someone responsible for... and it may also mean a benevolent authority, a rightful owner....a Protector...

This wonderful improvisation is by the Iraqi artist, Oud player Omar Bashir, son of the late great artist, composer Munir Bachir.

Thank you FirasAlkarradi from youtube.

Tehran in Baghdad

In my previous post I asked what is worse - the US occupation or the Iranian one. I replied that it's the combo of both. I changed my mind. What is worse than the US occupation is the Iranian occupation. The latter infiltrates the FABRIC of society on many levels and is longer term,  the Americans on the other hand are too white for their own good. They can't pass incognito....they just let the Iranians do their dirty work....

A few headlines in Arabic that I will translate for you (they can be checked here )

- Iyad Allawi strongly condemns Iranian (and other ) interference in Iraq's political scene and its trying to impose its will in Iraqi affairs - Oh poor Mr.Allawi, did you just wake up to that fact now ?!

- an INA delegation led by prominent figures (Chalabi and Co.) begin its Arab tour starting with Damascus -- the heart of "the Arabic Baath" as the Syrians like to call themselves (of course where else !)

- Iran seeking to unify State of Law Coalition and INA (Iraqi National Alliance i.e Ahmed Chalabi, Sadr and Hakeem) - consider it done...

- Maliki's state of Law coalition with Iranian efforts is aiming for a broad coalition of the Kurdish and Shiite parties - done deal with the full blessings of the Americans.

What would it take for anyone to understand that erasing the Semitic and Arabi dentity of Iraq is the ultimate aim ? And by Semitic, I am also referring to its historical dimension....but then I know that 99% of you understand zilch. Hopeless.

Addendum : And I just received this mail from an Australian garbage. I will withhold his full name, not because I want to protect his anonymity - oh no, but because I don't want to advertise for garbage. But there will come a day where ALL will be revealed...

"Are you a betting woman ?
$10 and an option on your body says the US and Israel will attack Iran soon and the US, Iran and Israel will all be seriously harmed by the war. Your Iranian-US-Zionist conspiracy theory is only half right, as long as it suited them all. Having served its purpose in Iraq, Iran has to go now."
My reply to this piece of  Australian shit : Go place your dirty bets on the whores of your country.

No Light at the End of the Tunnel...

Which is worse, America or Iran ? For the ordinary Iraqi it is the lethal combo of both that is worse...

For 7 years, day in day out we have not known one day of peace....for 7 years, day in day out, Iraqi blood has been pouring...daily...daily...daily...

Many believed that by joining the political process - they could actually effect some change...how deluded, how stupid and how myopic they are...how can a lethal occupation like this one bear any fruits but rotten
ones !

Check Uruknet for the latest news - 6 elected candidates from the Al-Iraqiya have been disqualified by the Justice and Accountability commission, led by the infamous Ahmed Chalabi and his best friend Al-Lami and another 46 will be barred as well on charges of --- "Baathism"

Already, the shameless, disgraceful, grotesque, complicit "anti war and leftist" websites are praising Muqtada Al-Sadr who is in alliance with Ahmed Chalabi as an anti-imperialist force to be reckoned.

Give it a couple of days and the other grotesque character P.Cockburn and the equally disgraceful Nir Rosen will undoubtedly shower more praise on the mass murderer and criminal psychopath driller of Iran - Muqtada Al-Sadr...

The disqualification by the Justice and Accountability means that Allawi's bloc has no longer a majority of seats...and sure signs of violence are looming large...not that it had stopped at all...but we all held a secret faint hope, a flicker, that maybe just maybe we will know one day of peace...one day, only one day.

I am also expecting another wave of exodus to follow shortly...

This is so distressing, despairing and hopeless...We are back to square 1. Not that we ever left it...just illusions...

Oppressive America...

Truly, I have never felt as oppressed as I have since 2003...I have never felt as much angst, as much suffocation, as much tyranny, as much repression as I have felt since those subhumans landed in Iraq....

For me today, America and Americans are associated in my head with pure Oppression...I have learned through those years, to unmask them in no time...even the "most liberal " among them...because in the latter's case it is their indifference and their cover-up that is so oppressive.

I find their political correctness oppressive, tyrannical...I find their external veneer asphyxiating with its phoniness, I find their so-called outer friendliness and so-called openness so thick with ill intent, ignorance and profiteering coupled with a poisonous snide racism that they can't seem to shake off...

I see America as the child of the Brits....but more "modern" looking, without the overt Victorian hangups of the English...yet God knows how much the mixture of American puritanism and perversion - at the same time...yes they are puritans and perverts together - how that deeply sick combination is lethal, toxic, caustic to others....and how it seeps and colors their words and deeds...

I need to stop again - this is making me sick. And it a beautiful morning here, but I will not dwell or stress it too much, lest they covet and come to occupy that too....

Iraq's Post-Elections

Why oh why am I blogging about this garbage ?! I believe in none of it...the book is known by its cover.
Allawi is nothing but a thug who was/is on British and American intelligence payroll, like the garbage Chalabi was...

But still, Iraqis had hoped for a tiny window of oxygen from the suffocating, repressive, obscurantist, tyrannical, dictatorial, terrorist rule of the Shia parties.

What these elections showed, and this is why I actually bothered to give the break down of votes by provinces - are several facts, several pieces of evidence that run smack against all the perfidious grotesque propaganda that led up to the 2003 occupation, a propaganda that you all bought, including the so-called Left (Arab garbage included specially their bloggers), the liberals progressives, the anti-war junk...and of course the vermin Iraqi scum...

That first piece of outright lie was that Saddam Hussein's government was a majority Sunni government and repressed the Shias of Iraq. This is was the first lie. And the lie continued by saying that the Sunnis (Arab Sunnis) of Iraq because of their "sectarianism" to which was added later on, as the war raged on a innocent people and you kept your mouths well tightly shut --- it was added to "Sunni sectarianism" , "Wahabism", "Salafism"....to make the lie even thicker...when in fact Al-Qaeda was introduced to Iraq by the Americans and the Iranians and Al-Qaeda not only killed Shias but it also massacred many Sunnis, including members of the Iraqi Resistance.

The second lie was that Shias were buried in mass graves in Iraq following their so called "intifada" in the 90's.
There was NO shia intifida in the 90's. What happened was a group of 10'000 Iranians infiltrating in the South, trying to create an intifida. I will keep the names for myself now...but you need to retain one name that of Chalabi and all who worked or were associated with him (and these are the names am withholding for the moment) and in Baghdad you had another front that of Allawi planting bombs and killing innnocent civilians.
Two fronts in the 90's aiming to topple Saddam Hussein and from the skies Americans and English animals would regularly  drop their bombs. All the plains failed then..These two fronts Chalabi/Allawi are today playing the political game in Iraq. And both finally set firm foot in Iraqi soil thanks to the barbaric US and not so Great Britain aided with  the full collaboration of Iran.

So why do I bother ?

I bother because the election results, however imperfect they are point out to truths that you never cared to admit,  acknowledge -- truths that you, all of you contributed in covering up despite evidence to the contrary.

These elections results show in no uncertain terms

- that the majority of Sunnis, voted for a Shia - this is your first lie debunked. And this in itself shows that Iraq was not a sectarian society prior to American occupation and prior to Iranian meddling.

- in the so called Kurdish regions, only Kurdish candidates were allowed to present themselves to the elections except for disputed Kirkuk. This means that the federalist agenda brought in by the Americans is still very much at work

- the results show very clearly that the Shiite provinces in the South, are still very much under the control of the Iranians - hence the elections for those provinces were made on purely sectarian lines, these regions do not want any secular force - not even a secular Shia. By correlation, the federalist agenda is still in place i.e the partitioning of Iraq into three states.

- I said it before and will repeat it again - Iran and its shias in Iraq operate in the following manner :
having ethnically cleansed any Iraqi resistance to the American/Israeli/Iranian plan,  and by resistance I do not only mean armed resistance, I mean any person/group who resisted the occupation -- it managed to infiltrate all the institutions of the government - ALL of them.
Iran and its proxies in Iraq, the shiite parties and their militias open many windows at the same time - meaning if one group or bloc of them fails, there is always another group to pick up. These groups on the surface may look different, serving different interests - the last ploy of this genre was between State of Law Coalition and INA - giving a semblance of pluralism. This is bullshit. Al Dawa of Maliki and INA both SERVE IRAN.
Even in the secular bloc of Allawi,  there are small groups serving Iran. Furthermore the ousting of Saleh Al-Mutlaq was in my opinion an act not just by Iran but also by the USA. In other words both Chalabi and Allawi wanted Mutlaq out.

- 2 days after the elections final results, the killing of Sunnis has started again, namely in Diyala and Baghdad Maliki had warned of violence erupting. Furthermore the Sadrists as the clear winners of the INA bloc, rushed to Iran on Friday, along with Hakeem, so did Talabani and Adel Abdel Mehdi.to receive further intstructions.

- this leaves Allawi in a very tight spot. Not only Sunni candidates of his bloc are being arrested and killed but also Maliki's  new war is forcing him to make a coalition with ----with whom ? Who is left but the Sadrists of INA or maybe the Kurds... If Allawi does make a coalition with the Shit parties, he can be sure to lose half of his constituency, seeing that another Sunni witch hunt has started already, just  2 days after the elections. But I can already tell you that Allawi does not give a hoot about his constituency.

- Also today, more truths are being revealed - namely that over 64 post Saddam mass graves have been unearthed. The despicable woman in charge of human rights in Iraq, who got nearly zero votes, and who works for Al-Maliki finally said the truth, but incompletely.
These mass graves unearthed in Baghdad and Diyala and which I have already written about in the past are made of SUNNIS. That is why the Arab Sunni population of Iraq has dwindled down to 15% from a 45% prior to 2003. Another truth you love covering up and blaming it only on the Americans. Not so. The Americans unleashed sectarianism but they could not do it alone. They needed the Shias loyal to Iran. And this is the part of the truth you hide because of your stupidity in believing that Iran is actually an anti-imperialist power.
Duplicitous that you are -- when you know fully well that within the grander Iraqi genocide, there has been a genocide of the Arab Sunnis of Iraq. And I believe I have given you enough evidence throughout those 4 years of blogging, but your adamant silence and cover up of this aspect of the Occupation, clearly points to your complicity  with the American Iranian Zionist occupation of Iraq.
And to that I say - fuck you then - whoever, whatever you are and if you happen to be a carrier of some cause or the other - then fuck your cause as well

- In conclusion,  things are as is -- post 2003. The partition agenda is still in place, Iran's overt meddling will increase as Arab countries warm up to Allawi, the Americans will find more reasons to extend their "liberation" stay, there is only one looser in all of this - only one and no other, only one victim, only one who paid and is paying the price of your infamy - Iraq.

Iraq's Elections Results -- FINAL RESULTS

UPDATE 2 - Final Results - rushed transcript

After much waiting and too many speeches from the HEC, half of which had strong Farsee accents and one Western one from UN/UNAMI who congratulated the Iraqis on their election celebrations and purple revolution - mentioning that there were many intimidations as well as irregularities, but the UN in its "objective and impartial role" did not notice any major fraud and that those irregularities were part of the election process...oh really ?!

HEC says that each bloc has 3 days exactly to make appeals...go figure what this means.

Speech by Maliki saying that many who won elections are wanted for Baathism and Justice and Accountability committee will do what is necessary to shelve them on the side.

Speech by Allawi saying that he wants good relations with all neighboring countries as long as they don't interfere in Iraq's internal affairs and that he was open to coalitions with any party or bloc and that there were no taboos in doing so -- thus said while American helicopters are hovering over Baghdad and while Iran is congratulating the Iraqis on their new found democracy.

The reason I took the trouble to give the results breakdown is because I see two trends that are important to note - especially those dirty Americans need to note it

1) Majority Sunni provinces votes for a secular Shiite - hence the accusation that Sunnis are sectarian or do not want any Shiite to rule is pure bullshit.

2) Shiite provinces, mainly in the South, voted for the sectarian Shiite parties. This is due to 2 factors a) Iran's malignant influence and b) the inherent sectarian nature of Shiite political ideology

3) The sectarian/ethnic divide as brought by the US occupier is still very much in place.

______________________________________________________________

 UPDATE 1  - rushed transcript

- election results been postponed until now, well past 7 pm.
- growing sense of panic in the population - fear of clashes
- massive deployment of Iraqi armed forces in Baghdad and also in South
- military helicopters hovering in Baghdad and Basra, Iraqi and US helicopters
- Talabani and Adel Abdel Mahdi (INA) sudden planned visit to Iran
- delay of election results due to emergency meeting in HEC (election commission)
- Solaghr Jaber (Iranian national - ex minister of interior/torture dungeon - now minister of finance) changed his name to Baqer el Zubaidi (retain this name)
.______________________________________________________________

Today at 7 pm Baghdad time, the final results of the March 7th elections will come out...in other words they are not out yet...

There have been some serious warnings of violence gripping the city - warnings issued by non other than Maliki himself...

And just now I came across this article by AP who seems to know more than anyone else who are the future kingmakers in Iraq -- and what struck me most is the following sentence :

The Kurds, who are expected to win in the three provinces that make up their autonomous region, and followers of anti-U.S. cleric Muqtada al-Sadr are likely to play key roles as kingmakers.

For those who have been following my blog - please refer to my post of 11th February 2010, where I had the great misfortune of dreaming of Muqtada Al-Sadr winning some major seats in the elections. And I will quote from that post/dream of 11 February 2010

Their mahdi appeared, that chief  fat bastard of a driller. He could not speak proper Arabic, his accent was more Farsee than anything else, he made zero sense, he did not know what he was saying, he was incoherent, jumbled, and he turned to me and asked me what I thought of his speech. It seemed that he had won some major seats in the elections. And in the dream, I had one look at him and I froze and started stuttering, and thankfully I woke up and it was just a dream...but what a cold sweat shiver it was !
And in that post I also gave an important piece of information - namely that Al-Hakeem and the Sadrists are one and the same organization at the top level, directed from Iran...and in subsequent posts I did say that Iran operates on many levels inside of Iraq and that it uses different political groups and parties to ensure it's continuous grip over Iraq.
I will go and watch the "election's results" and will update if necessary - even though I believe that this whole charade is pre-planned, pre-ordained, predicted...Iraq will REMAIN under the tight fists of both US/Israel and Iran.

And I will not let go...
Totally blocked, can't continue with the Nimrud series...must really get to the bottom of it...and where on earth did I learn my English ? Sometimes I come up with such words ! Makes Shakespeare turn in his grave...hahahaha

Will We Survive ?

I can't stop laughing and I have not even started this post...it's a brewing joke in my head...a joke turned reality...and the joke is on us.

Please tell me will we survive as a people, as an Arab people, when a Haifa Wehbe, a siliconised, half nude "singer" can mobilize more people for a song -- that even the toes of my foot can sing better -- than  the plight of whole Arab countries being erased and massacred?

The West tolerates that, encourages it --  as long as you're half naked...these are the Arabs that the West loves...this is the real opium of the people, not religion, not Islam...

Nor will the Western "liberals and progressives" as well as their  "feminists" of my ass will  get on your back, they will leave you in peace...because you're then a copy of them and their decadence...

This is not about  Haifa Wehbe the "singer" , the person -- she is free to prostitute herself as much as she likes...it is about the Haifa Wehbe phenomena

And by phenomena I mean that a slutty singer can raise the Arab masses, ( like in this concert - called "Le Concert de la Tolerance" ) in particular its men with a collective hard on -- while they are flaccid, limp and impotent when it comes to their honor, dignity, women, children ...when it comes to their "Umma" being raped, when it comes to their "Umma" being massacred, when it comes to their "Umma " being looted, plundered and pillaged...

Haifa Wehbe in that "Arabic" version of "I will survive", is true to her self, and so are you...and she does end the song with -- GO AWAY, yanee VANISH !

And since this is the case - eh wallah  you deserve your vanishing "Fate"

Bet you anything this post will get the most hits....hahahaha, what an "Umma" of dicks!

HACKED AGAIN

My Twitter account has been hacked...

I have many enemies....the American pieces of stupid ignorant shits...the Jews stealing - forever looting...and the Iranians when you rub them the wrong way...if you are not a "male peach"...you are not in their good books...

Does that mean I need to be a dirty thief of a faggot so you can leave me in peace ?

Today, problem seems to be solved for now...still have problems updating tweets, one minute it works and the next it doesn't...yesterday it was impossible to log in, and I was told my profile disappeared for some time...

I mean am aware that many do not like what I have to say, but trust me I don't like what they say either but worse still I hate what they do...and if I had to hack everyone I did not like on the internet, trust me more than 50 websites would be down by now...

But hacking is stupid and immature...what is it, some show of muscle force online?
pffft, more rubbish ...

Nimrud's Lamentations, Nimrud's Wrath.4

Took a break to calm myself down a little...I have to go through this, even though I have been avoiding it for the past 5 years...am not expecting that it will change anything, nor that it will make a difference, maybe am just hoping I will be released...

I will not go through every artifact that was looted...google "Iraqi antiquities" and you will have the word loot pop up with every single link...

But what I can tell you as FACT, is that the first batch of smuggled antiquities took place in the early 90's by none other than members of the WMD inspection team first led by R.Butler the CIA spy...then it continued...since these bastards had access to every single site on Iraqi soil, and they could roam and wander as they pleased...their team members were the first looters...

In 2003, the looting of Iraqi antiquities took on a more organized form, thousands of precious, irreplaceable ancient relics disappeared...some dating to the FIRST known civilization to mankind - The Sumerian one.

Damn it's coming on again...another short break.

Resuming...

I have known that Iraqi museum in Baghdad - I used to spend hours in it, studying every piece, admiring them, imagining how they came up with such genius, who inspired them, where did they get the coloring material from, how did they come up with the designs, what was their message, what were they trying to tell me about art, creativity, genius, inventions, their perception of the world, the universe, the cosmos -- and as I asked myself these questions, I was also walking in their footsteps...seeing through their eyes, and through every single piece, I felt we were related, like in a blood line...I felt they were telling me about continuity, about lineage, about origins...mine...ours...they had set the foundation for our collective memory...and they were telling me...look...you can trace back yours millenniums back to us...

So it was with the archeological sites, I would wander there, in their grounds...infusing myself with their signs, with their message, with their spirit...

And at times when I felt lost, I had a few books on antiquities, I would open them and stare at the pictures, over and over again, touching them like talismans...this is how attached I was, am, to our historical heritage...

I don't even know how to explain it in words...am searching for the right sentences to illustrate that bond...that attachment and I can't find them...it's visceral, it's archaic, it's magical...

I am not expecting Iraqis from a younger generation to understand any of it, they are too taken with Michael Jackson, Rap, and Celine Dion or whatever crap they listen to, they are too engrossed with KFC, McDonalds, and mimicking like chimpanzees the Americans of their generation...they are as hopeless as the latter...as stupid and as empty and as ignorant...these Iraqis are crass, they are garbage, like the Americans they imitate...I have no hope and no faith in them...it is not them who will keep the memory alive...and I am not sure they are any left to keep the memory alive...

I need another break...this is too painful for me...

Nimrud's Lamentations, Nimrud's Wrath. 3

I admit, I am having difficulty writing about the looting of Iraq's heritage...I am having difficulty writing about your pillaging our memory, our origins, our history...

I choke with sadness, I suffocate with rage, and with every word that I type, my hatred, my loathing for anything American keeps growing...unconditionally so...

I don't even know where to start...should I start with your looting MILLIONS of DOLLARS in Cash and transporting them in boxes to New York "to be counted"...

This is I saw with my own two eyes - the first loot I am a witness of was end 2003 - beginning 2004 and consisted of several wooden boxes where about 650 Million dollars were stashed by the previous regime - this money was destined for the food rationing of thousands of families that you starved with your embargo during 13 years...The Americans thieves, sons of whores put the boxes in a truck and flew them to New York....we never heard anything about this first loot since...

Since, under Bremer and under every subsequent motherfucker dog American and Iraqi puppet, BILLIONS of Dollars have been looted...under Bremer alone, 20 Billion dollars went missing. 20 Billion Dollars of IRAQI money. God how much I hate you people !

As if that was not enough, your filthy soldiers/rapists, would steal our money and jewelery when ransacking our homes...during their daily raids...

Not only, the homes of President Saddam Hussein and all of his family, members of the previous government, their houses were all looted by the Americans. Their belongings resurfaced everywhere, from the United States of Assholes to South Africa...the palaces which are the property of Iraq were looted too...and the Americans took part in the looting...

You love Cash ya awlad al kalb - I see how your eyes glitter at the sight of Cash...I have seen you drool and foam at the mouth at the sight of money...oh no, not just your soldiers, not just your representatives, but your "law abiding" "peace loving" citizens, salivating like dogs at the sight of money...

So you looted our Cash first...then you looted our artifacts, our antiquities, our heritage then you looted our oil...and now you ask us to contribute for our refugees !

I need a break...I am shaking with rage now...

Nimrud's Lamentations, Nimrud's Wrath. 2

I've been holding on to the pictures...for over 5 years now...I hid them, refused to share them with anyone...I would take them out every once in a while, study them, watch them closely, read the faces...and stack them away again...and for over 5 years, the wrenching pain, the fire I feel in my gut has not subsided not one iota...on the contrary, it keeps growing...a smoldering braise...and nothing will ever extinguish it...

There comes a point in anyone's life when one has to put an X - I have reached that point....I have put an X on you and everything you represent. EVERYTHING you represent...

The crimes have been too many - uncountable, the destruction - indescribable in words, the lies too intricate to unravel, and the pillaging, plundering, looting beyond anyone's imagination...

A nation of looters, thieves, bandits, rapists, torturers, liars, profiteers, exploiters, criminals, killers -- a nation of gluttony, concupiscence, envy, covetousness and greed...

Behind that politically correct public facade of yours, behind that veneer and the mask, behind lurks the biggest lie...behind it lurks the worshipers of dollars and gold...behind it lies miserliness, hoarding, avarice -- the mind of a cheap calculator, the mind of a miser accountant, the mind of a ravenous grabber...always avidly vying what others have, even if you are satiated to the point of exploding...but you are NEVER satiated. There are holes in your body and in your soul, and they will never be full...however much you grab, however much you loot, however much you steal, however much...however much you envy, covet and appropriate others, you will never be full...you will never be satisfied...and I now understand that this is how you've been cursed. Yes this is your Curse.

Nimrud's Lamentations, Nimrud's Wrath. 1

Who and What were you 6'000 years ago ? You and your nations were NOTHING, you were not even in existence... you were nothing, had nothing...not that it changed much since...

I love History, specially ancient History...History is a bit like God...it enlightens and teaches the ignorant, humbles the arrogant...but in your case, you are genetically predisposed for arrogance...and what an end yours will be !

Forget about you, you ignorant barbaric hoards, you uncultured, uncivilized, backward people...you covetous, jealous, envious, Godless people...

I hear Nimrud lamenting...you probably don't even know who Nimrud is...I can already see you all rushing to google...ah, what disgust I feel every time I see one of you around, talking with airs of knowledge, when you and I, know deep down what a failure of a human being you are ...

I said it once, you can curse the Iraqis, destroy them, rob them as much as you want, we are nothing but mud and dust, people come and go...so will you -- because you are made of the same stuff as us...you will end too one day...Insha'Allah soon...but you lay a finger on Iraq -- the concept, you lay a finger on Mesopotamia from which the Great Iraq is born and I will shred you to pieces...and am up to my promise...

You see, ignorant assholes that you are, History cannot lie...and I know how much you covet what you don't have...I am reserving a post for just that...I have studied you for so long...I know you inside out...and I know how you love to GRAB...you grab anything...you are a nation of grabbers with NO dignity...you love free meals, free rides, free anything...in fact you are nothing but a bunch of thieves, bandits...

You stole us...you stole us from everything we owned...from our daily bread all the way to our history...to our memory, to our monuments, to our artifacts, to our souls...

You stole us because you knew and you know what inferior beings you are...what empty, shallow, rootless, ignorant people you are...you stole us because you are hungry...not hungry for food, but hungry to appropriate anything that is better, BETTER than you...because deep down you know what a bunch of worthless pieces of crap you collectively are...I told you once - you are a nation of BASTARDS...you might know who your father and mother are, but you are still BASTARDS because you lost your ORIGINS...you have NONE, so like your cousins the Jews, you grab...trying to create some...

Stop deluding yourselves...you can steal all you want from our history...you are still a bunch bastards...you can hide what you stole in your museums and in your homes, but still you are nothing but bastards with no origins...those who created 6'000 years ago, can still re-create today...while you, you will keep on grabbing and what a lowly, debased sight it is...

Another Year, Another Post. -7

A Curse from the Back Burner...

This is my last post for the "occasion "...I once mentioned that I needed to thank every single one I came across since 2003, I need to thank them for shattering my faith in  "humankind". So thank you all...

Been listening to the Butcher of Falluja, Iyad Allawi, saying that "Americans sacrificed their lives for Iraq", and that " we are indebted to them for ever..."

Garbage people of America and not so great Britain, they say the same thing either in reality or in cyber world

"Masters and puppets", this is how the West likes it...but not only the warmongers, even their leftist, liberal, progressive shits, they hold the same discourse...maybe not in so many words...but the essence is the same...After all --we rid the country of a tyranny...

Even the alternative media including the despicable Arab media states the same thing, like today's article by  a two cents worth Western "reporter" from Baghdad, who concludes with " there will be no 8th or 9th year anniversary to celebrate " implying that the Americans will no longer be there, in 12 or 24 months, they would have done the job and handed a shadow, a mirage of a country back to the "Iraqis"...

And every single motherfucker believes that shit...deep inside, they believe it...and you know why ? because you believed in that "liberation" from day one...you believed that Iraq needed to be rid of tyranny and that the only ones who can do it are you... all believed that -- including the anti war garbage...and the "benevolent" Westerners trying to "save" Iraqis from the hell they created themselves...after all how can they feel superior in their chronic inferiority...except by destroying then trying to "save" and "sacrifice" themselves for those whom they destroyed...My God what perversion !

Oh sure, you would hear them quote figures...and feel a little ashamed...about the "excessive use of power" which really " was uncalled for most of the time", but after all "we lost 4000 of ours", 4000 ignorant, uncultured, barbaric racist rapists and torturers.. OK so we overdid it a little, OK so there was/is torture, OK we imprisoned children, OK we killed a few academics, OK, we saw sectarianism...but hey there was always sectarianism in Iraq...it has nothing to do with us...OK so maybe we had a little something to do with it, but you know, the Shiites and Kurds were so oppressed and he did gas his own people... OK so there are  thousands of dead and thousands of refugees, thousands of widows, thousands of orphans... OK, true there was use of DU, Napalm, but really...you know, I mean, how can we really be sure...but..but..but..but...

Come on, do I have to go through the whole discourse ?  Fuck it, you know it better than I do, you invented it, and all of you parroted it, ALL of you...with maybe one or  two exceptions...

In the course of 7 years,  All of you have contributed to the erasing of something called Iraq...like it or not...accept it or not...admit it or not...

But you see, they held elections now, with a massive turnout....Iraqis are so focused on the future now...

Sweep it under the carpet...cover up the mass graves, the ethnic cleansing, the walls that still divide Baghdad, the squalor, the destruction, the looting, the pillaging, the plundering, the crammed prisons, the ongoing torture, the destitution... and the thousands who have no voice -- rushed like sheep to the ballot boxes, dripping fingers in purple, out of desperation, hoping against hope...that maybe, just maybe...

I have no hope for Iraq...none ...not in my lifetime...

And if by any chance, by any miracle...I am proved wrong and Iraq is truly liberated, I would not want to see one piece of American or English shit ever again in my life...Iraq will be a closed zone for animals like yourselves...neither will I want to see one Persian scum around...and trust me when I tell you I am not the only Iraqi who feels that way...

Iraq will go down in history as one of the biggest crime ever committed by the Western people, in the shortest span of time...Iraq will go down in history as the biggest cover up, the biggest lie, the biggest fabrication in history...Iraq will go down in history as a mirror image of WHO and WHAT you are...Iraq went down...and so will You...

Another Year, Another Post. 6

Mothers...

I am aiming for 7 posts of the same series, each post for each year...a total of 7 years...

21st of March is the Spring Equinox, the first day of Spring, it is also the Nawroz, the Persian (and also the Afghan and Kurdish New Year), it is also the day someone very dear to my heart was born but he is no longer here to celebrate...it also Mother's day in the Arab World and in the Middle East...

It is also around this time, plus or less a day, that the invasion of my beloved Iraq took place...promising us a new Spring  flower with birth pangs for a new Middle East...and since, we have been stuck in an eternal cold winter...a cold winter of grief, loss and exile...

So what can be more fitting than today, the 21st of March to dedicate a post to Iraqi Mothers...

But before I do so, I need to dispel some myths...you don't have to have a child to be a mother...yes you read me right...every woman is a mother...maybe you lost your child, maybe you don't have any, maybe you are a childless Mother, but you are still a Mother, because that is your nature...the nature of the Feminine...
And by the same token, you can be a biological mother with many children but you are not a mother...this is only to say that mothers, motherhood  is not defined by your capacity to have or not have children...motherhood is defined in my book, by your capacity to give birth to a new life...

There is the Great Mother, the Rahman - Raheem...

Uterus in Arabic is Rahm, from which is derived Rahman, Raheem...the Compassionate, the Merciful...

So when I talk of mothers, this is the Divine attribute I am referring to...the compassionate, merciful uterus of the world...where all is conceived, formed and where all grows...and earthly mothers are supposedly a reflection of this cosmic Uterus...

I am yet to meet anyone, male or female who when talking about his/her mother does not become emotional, either in a positive or negative way...it's impossible to talk of Mother without having your heart weep, one way or another...either weeping for a love you had no one else can give you, or a love you wished  you had and no else can give you, or for a mother you wish you still had, or for a mother you never had, or for a memory...

Mother and motherhood are very charged emotional topics...regardless of where you're from...regardless of your race, nationality, religion, background, history...but it is a UNIFYING topic...all weep (even if they hide it) when the subject of mother comes up...

So can you imagine what Iraqi mothers, or mothers in the making, or what the Iraqi Feminine must be feeling today on the 21st of March ?

Can you imagine what it must be like for those who weep for their mothers...mothers gone because of a "spring flower of a democracy", gone because missing, gone because in prisons, gone because too debilitated by the effects of torture, rape, loss, grief...gone because ...

Can you imagine what it must feel like for the mothers of Iraq, who have no more children to tell them happy mother's day, who have no husbands, or no families to remember them on this occasion, who have no one to celebrate the first day of Spring with...what they are left with  are but photos, memories of a son or a daughter or a grandchild...not even...because some have no more homes...and some have more hungry mouths to feed and not know where the next morsel will come from...and some look at their DU, napalm deformed baby and curse the day they became mothers...

Iraqi mothers are nothing but the reflection of Iraq, the great mother...broken in her spirit,  broken in her body, all the workings of this great uterus, of this God inside, gone with a man made bomb, a man made bullet....gone with a lie...

How is it possible to celebrate the first day of Spring, how is it possible to celebrate  the New Year, how is it possible to celebrate Mother's Day, how is it possible to celebrate the 21st of March and not remember Iraq, the great earthly mother, the uterus and birth place of civilization, on her 7th "anniversary"....

Ugent. Update 5 : Hiba Al-Shamaree, Iraqi Female Blogger

Following my update no.4 of 27th February on Hiba Al-Shamaree, aka Dr.Hanan Al-Mashdani, I mentioned that she was to be presented to the Iraqi courts on terrorism charges because of an anti-dual US/Iran occupation blog !

I just learned now that Hiba Al-Shamaree, this 33 year old Doctor has been sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment by the "democratic" government of Nouri Al-Maliki , because of a blog ! And God knows what they did to her to extract "information" because of a blog !

On the 7th year "anniversary", this is one extra reason for you to "celebrate" the "new budding flower of Democracy" in the Middle East - Iraq.

Another Year, Another Post. - 5

Errant Souls

One of the most formidable catastrophes and tragedies of this "liberation" and which is getting very scarce coverage is the Iraqi Refugee "problem".

An overall 5 Million Iraqis turned into Refugees in the space of 7 years. Now that's an anniversary you can celebrate...

Perusing the news and the frenzied reporting on the "elections" of the "new flourishing democracy", you are given the impression that all is well, that refugees are no longer errant souls, they all returned home to participate in this flowering democracy called the New Iraq, the "new flower of the Middle East " watered by blood and fed corpses...

Got news for you, all reports state in no uncertain terms that Iraqis are not returning to their "new flower of a democracy". In other words none want to go back to the morgue called Iraq.

Iraqi refugees since 2003 until this very day have been the most neglected group, the most humiliated, denigrated and the most forgotten...

Apart from a couple of NGOs and UNHCR, who would occasionally write a word or two about Iraq's refugees, there is nothing else...in fact there is a total darkness, a total black out, a total cover up concerning Iraqi refugees both inside and outside of Iraq.

A few trickling numbers here and there, a line or two of statistics, some data on the number of "resettled" families and that's it...unless of course there's a hot topic like prostitution, then you would have the Westerners and in particular their female writers articulate essays about it, because this is a "hot" topic and feeds smack into their personal obsession with "Sex & the Orient" and this is a subject that merits a post by itself...

You don't really get to hear, read, see much, of the daily struggles of Iraqi refugees, their hopelessness, their grief, their loss, their miserable conditions, their traumas, their wounds...you don't get to see any of their scars, both physical and psychological, you don't get to hear their personal stories of rape, torture by the Americans and Brits and the sectarian militias that landed with the filth of occupiers, you don't get to hear about their very depressed kids, their nights without food, their ill health, their chronic diseases that get no treatment, their absolute poverty, their urgent messages asking for a little money for a surgery, for medication, for food, you never get to hear or read about their loneliness and the loneliness of exile, nor do you get to know anything about their homesickness and their feelings of despair...

But what you do get to hear apart from the "hot sex stories" reported in the Western media, of some Iraqi women forced into prostitution, are occasional appeals for donations for some NGO or UNHCR because "money is running out" or you would get a few numbers - 100 Iraqi families resettled in the US, 55 in Sweden, 4 in Germany etc...as if this is some major achievement, as if this is the cherry on the cake...

Iraqi families get about 275 dollars a month from those who register with the UN along some food coupons and access to a couple of miserable health dispensaries where would not even take your pet for a check up...with those 250-275 dollars you are to pay a rent of about 200 dollars a month, where hot water is a luxury, and the rest is for food and other necessities...and if you are to be resettled to a "civilized" country of the 1st world, you must run a battery of medical tests, that cost over 400 dollars which you will have to pay back along with your air ticket fare plus other "resettlement and administrative" fees...a total of not less than 3000 dollars to pay back to the occupying powers or to the shit countries that are "kind enough to have you."

So when I read appeals by NGOs asking for donations and when I see it mentioned over and over again -- "rich Arabs, Iraqis, Jordanians, Syrians must contribute"....I say fuck that.

No rich or poor Arab, Iraqi, Jordanian, Syrian must contribute anything....if anyone must contribute it is the Western world and their fucked westerners, it is the rich American, Brits, Australians, and the rest of the crass of the "civilized" world, it is their governments, it is their institutions, it is their societies...you keep moaning, whining, about how your "tax payer's money" is going for the war, then you fucking pay for those refugees too.

Iraqi refugees are the responsibility of the American and English governments first and foremost and the responsibility of the Iraqi government in second lieu...

There is so much anyone can individually contribute, and I don't want to hear that shit about "rich" Arabs anymore. You garbage people have pillaged our country, you have pillaged our riches and resources, you have plundered our homes and our lives, it is your fucking responsibility. And I surely don't want to hear anymore condescending remarks by those Westerners who are here to "save those poor Iraqis". You are not doing us a favor, again it is your responsibility and you get salaries for doing your work with refugees...it's not like your doing it free of charge. But the Westerner never misses an opportunity to show how "benevolent" they are to those "poor Iraqis"

What all these people fail, omit, to mention is that-- because of GARBAGE AMERICA AND AMERICANS AND GARBAGE ENGLAND AND ITS BRITS, and what the so-called liberal "peace movement" omits to mention is that --it is also because of GARBAGE IRAN AND ITS MILITIAS, that you have so many thousands of refugees that refuse or can't return home...

And of course what no one tells you is that most of the refugees are mostly Sunnis, Christians and other minorities and what they also fail to tell you is that most are educated, professionals, with degrees and skills...and what most fail to tell you is that the garbage West only accepts to re-settle those who have university degrees and professional skills, thus ensuring that the whole strata of Iraqi society of technocrats, teachers, professors, doctors, scientists, etc...is recruited into their societies causing a permanent brain drain...thus leaving the ignorant scum, handpicked by the garbage Americans and Brits to rule the country...

So those educated Iraqis who have not been murdered by the death squads from the US, Israel or Iran have been made into refugees and then re-settled in the West...

And those who are not re-settled, for x reason, are left to rot with nothing, begging and living on handouts from the "generous" West, and since they get nothing from the West, they make do with what they receive in donations, meager donations, here and there...and there is so much one can donate. The needs are enormous, the needs are endless, the stories are horrifying and donations are simply not enough nor are they a solution in the short or long run...this is not a question of charity and good will,  this is a question of responsibility by International Law. And the Americans are the ones who are responsible. Full stop.

Furthermore, the garbage Iraqi government still busy counting votes, is deliberately turning a blind eye to the Iraqi refugees, they do NOTHING. They don't want the refugees to return, for the same reasons I mentioned above. A return would mean vacating the occupied homes, would mean creating employment, would mean re-integrating none Shiites and none Kurds into the fabric again...and the new Iraq of America and Iran can't afford any of that...after all they went to the greatest length to make sure that Iraq does not raise her head again...

A Frightening Reality

Well I did warn, I did say I am not sure how or when this will end...I knew when I turned that key into that locked door, I was opening a can of worms...

Needless to say I had much difficulty falling asleep, and when I eventually did, I was woken up every hour or so with terrible nightmares. I am not sure if nightmare is the correct word, more like very powerful dreams, one sequence after another, that left me drenched in cold sweat, gasping for air...

I could not fall asleep, even though I was dead tired...I kept tossing and turning and out of the blue images of my dying grandmother flashed before my eyes...I saw when uncle handed me her medical report, the first thing I read was - Prognosis Negative. It was too late to do anything. Not that there was much we could do in view of the circumstances...the family decided not to tell her how ill she was...but she knew...

I remember being by her side and holding her frail transparent hands, with the blue veins showing, all dried up...I said " Bibi, it will all be fine " - she smiled and said "I know why am so ill, it's the wars, they killed me...I kept the frights inside and now they are killing me..."

Do those who pride themselves on "Liberation and Mission Accomplished" ever think of how "frights kept inside" actually act like delayed time bombs and bullets? Do the Medical Associations of the "civilized" world, ever consider the long term effects, of such a "negative prognosis" ? I very much doubt it...I very much doubt that Bibi or the thousand others will ever cross their callous indifferent minds...

So against this background of specific memories, I finally managed to doze off, only to be shaken out of this much desired state by potent sequences of a dream...

I dreamt it was pitch black all around me...I was in some airport tarmac, I had just landed and about to cross a border...I was carrying no luggage, there was no suitcase waiting for me...I only had a small plastic bag with essentials in it...

I saw my dad waiting for me on the other side of the fence...I had to go through customs but I had no papers, no documents...they checked and re-checked the contents of my plastic bag, I was delayed...I told my dad, I will join them later on, I am being kept here for a while...

The second sequence was also very potent...I then saw myself in a gathering of men, Arab men from different nationalities...supposedly "supporters of the cause", they were just sitting drinking coffee and smoking...and theorizing...they were Lebanese, Palestinians, Syrians, for the most part...and at the same time they were trying to sell me things, goods -- stuff that was worthless...I said to one of them, but I have already paid you so much, and I got nothing in return, why should I pay you more ? you have given me nothing... he retorted - come on, you know how much we care about you, we even gave you a discount... I replied - a discount for what ?! you gave me nothing, I gave you everything I had... So one of the guys hugged me and said - you know we are brothers and I said - are we really ?....I left this gathering very upset, and headed to the empty street, again it was pitch black...again I was carrying nothing but this plastic bag...

The third sequence was the most telling....as I was walking down that dark street, a car pulls up on the curb, I noticed it had no lights, I felt danger...the man in the car said - have no fear I live here in this street...but he had an Egyptian accent and he was driving a car that had no Egyptian license plates...and in the dream I was not in Egypt...I knew he was lying and that I was in trouble...He got out of the car, he was a very big man, looked like a monster, he just put his hands on my mouth and he tried to rape me...I fought back as hard as I could, I wanted to scream, shout, but he suffocated my voice with his big hands, I had a small alarm in my hand, like a small siren, emitting the same sound when the bombs were about to fall...I sounded the siren, it was loud...I could hear it in the empty street, I was waiting for my "brothers" to show up -- no one did...

I woke up trembling...I felt so nauseous I wanted to vomit, but I had nothing in my stomach to vomit...I laid in bed for a while gathering my senses, reminding myself it was just a dream...only to realize that it was no dream, it was reality...

Iraq was betrayed, raped and abandoned by Her Arab "brothers" first..

Another Year, Another Post.- 3

2003 and back...

It's funny how it is all coming back, as if it was yesterday...it's like a closed locked door and I just turn in the key, open it and here it is all over again...

There are things I don't want to remember, but they impose themselves on me, imperiously so...and it's like one scene takes me to another one, like in a train ride...like a film I can't stop...like a film I am anxiously waiting for to end...

One scene leads to another, like in a labyrinth...no wonder this is a door I never wanted to open...

War after War after War...back in the tunnel, swirling back...subtracting years, 1991, the fireworks of another liberation. 1980, 1973, 1967...I remember them all...one by one...

What is there to say ? Apart from swinging from shivers to numbness back to shivers, back to nothing...

The same scene repeats itself...windows shattering, plastic and tapes, glued to the radio for the latest news, hoping batteries won't run out, and more sirens...all the sirens sound the same...Baghdad and beyond -- same sirens, same wars...

Israeli air raids in 1967 and 1973, I was there too...I laugh when I think about it, laugh sarcastically, as if Destiny wanted me to be a witness...

I remember another shelter...this one was very damp...it was in the basement of a building...not really a shelter but more like an underground storage room...it smelled bad...humidity and piss...I remember Dad grabbing the radio, and Mom pulling me by the arm - Yalla Layla, let's go...and I'd hear the thunder outside shaking the earth beneath my feet...and after so many rounds of "punishment" from the Sky, I'd say to my mother - do we really have to go to this dark room, can't we just die here in our home ?

I remember her just pulling me by the arm down the stairs -- no time for a reply, every minute counted...hurrying down the stairs whilst everything shook...and ending up in that dark humid, smelly room, smelling of rot and piss...there would be several families there...again each family would take a corner, gather and huddle together...waiting for the final verdict, waiting for the final sentence, waiting...to see if God, the Universe, MIG fighter jets...decide who will live and who will die that day...

And so it is in this part of the world, from 2010 to all the way back...their raids and bullets fly over your head taking you from up and their articles take you from down....and they still shove them under your nose telling you how oppressive - oppressed you are...

Another Year, Another Post. - 2

Bombs and Rosaries

We were all gathered in the dark room, in one corner of the room, huddled, almost piled up on top of another...like corpses about to be collectively buried in some anonymous mass grave...there was a little candle burning, flickering, imperceptibly so...maybe the only warmth, for we were shivering...

Each round we'd think the time has come...the time has come with the walls shaking and the windows shattering...we stopped replacing them...we just used garbage bags and tape instead...maybe that was a symbol for what was to come later...tape your mouth, seal your lips while your life has become a pile of garbage...

I remember each one would give the other "instructions", if you so and so is still alive, he/she should not forget to do so and so...and with every round, we'd say our prayers all over again, asking forgiveness for our short lived lives, our failures and omissions, and remind one another of the will...if you are still alive, remember, promise you will remember... I suppose another way of reaching immortality in those deadly minutes that preceded and followed every round of Freedom...

At first there were sirens, and some would scream "ghara, ghara, here they come again" (air raid, air raid) as if we had a say in the matter, as if we could stop it, as if we controlled the sky or those who rode it...so we huddled again and again...like terrified animals before a storm, before an earthquake...

When the sirens stopped working, it was the brave ones who went to the mosques and start chanting Allahu Akbar - God is the Greatest...these became our sirens -- Allahu Akbar...

In the aftermath of each round of Freedom and Liberation, each would take a deep breath, and try to reach someone else, another relative, a neighbor, to check on them...

Rosaries - praying beads would be left on each one's seat, marking it as -- this is my place, this is where I was when it all happened...marking our territory with praying beads...half angels and half animals, surviving on prayer and instinct...awaiting death...

Blasted to Pieces

Remembering, not that I have ever forgotten...remembering not that I have been given a chance to forget...

This post may not be a coherent, cohesive one... who gives a fuck ? I certainly don't...there is nothing coherent or cohesive about occupation and exile...and it's not like am up for a Pulitzer price in Literature either...

This post may be a collection of rambling lines...so what ? I've heard nothing but ramblings and rumblings for the past 7 years...and am no more royalist than the king...

This post might have no beginning and no end, this post might be a reflection of a state of limbo...who cares? It's been a limbo for two decades already...

The Westerner is a bag of slimy hypocrisy...like nasal snots...and am not just talking about governments here, am talking of "people". You'd have every aspect of your life destroyed because of their "free choice" as in "democratically" electing their governments, and they get all flustered if you give them the royal finger...and tell them -- fuck you people of the lie...you are nothing but deceit.

I mean how could you ? How could you insult them, use foul language, indulge in vulgarity, how could you speak their own language ?! Only they, are allowed to fuck you and the "good kind souls" among them come and "save you" from their fucking your life...

That's the West for you - in one simple paragraph. Oh and you have to be so grateful too...because they "reached out" for you...but you just don't want to be saved, you are a stubborn, obstinate creature - you want Justice...that does not go too well in their books...you know why ? because these people don't care about justice, their whole lives are based on blatant injustices...their whole lifestyle is based on injustices, their whole system is based on Injustice...oh yes it sure is...and you need not be a reader of contemporary history either...but these bastards want you with permanent blinkers on...like those donkeys they can lead by making them smell a carrot dangling in front...

And if you reject, loudly reject both the donkey and the sheep, you are not one of them....and you will never be one of them...

Ah these Arabs, ah these Muslims, terribly unruly...then they would pull out some article or another and stick it under your nose and tell you -- see, see how terribly oppressive, oppressed, you people are -- see ?!

And that after they've blown your home, your family, your kids, your life to fucking pieces...like a jigsaw puzzle...

And you go searching for the pieces, trying to make it whole again...but you know you can't...you know it has become an impossibility...but never mind, as long as you don't insult those sons of bitches...as long as you keep your "dignified" posture, on four, looking for the pieces...while they shove another article under your nose telling you how oppressive, oppressed you are...

An Eternal Enemy...

One thing I noticed about Westerners and Americans in particular, specially this lot, they always need an enemy to function...

Thinking about it deeply, I see it to be a Truth...Historically it is a confirmed truth...from the days of the Christian crusades, till this very day, things have not changed much...the packaging looks different, but what is inside the package has not changed one bit...

Europeans are overall a very racist bunch, I mean deeply racist, and Americans do not fare any better...

Historically for Europe, the first enemy was the Muslims, as far back as the 11th century, they used and still do call them the Mohammedans...

As European colonialism spread along with the slave trade, the main enemy was the black/colored man/woman -- it became the Arabs, the Africans and the Indians....not that it has changed much since...

As for this bastard country called the United States of America, the first settlers embedded the concept of the "Enemy" into the culture, elevating it to a sophisticated logic around which revolves everything that is American...it is the main trigger for domestic and foreign policy, it is the crux around which the whole media is constructed and it is the kernel that gave birth to different specialties in the American "academia", such as the concepts of negotiation, conflict management and resolution, peace processes, deterrence, zero sum games, etc...

Had the West and Americans in particular been a "peace loving" people, you would agree they would not need all the above to "achieve peace", a peace that they try to achieve after they wage, instigate wars...and there has been many of them instigated wars by the West...

For the West and the Americans in particular, it is crucial for their psyche and its survival to have an identifiable enemy..if he does not exist, you can trust these highly neurotic people to invent him...it's as if these Christian cultures cannot live in peace at all....hence their so-called peace movements....
These are societies built on war...and war does not only take place in battlefields...there are all kinds of wars going on....and these are societies whose survival depends on them....

Logically, in order to perpetuate this state of permanent war which is really the state of the Western world and of the USA in particular, it is of absolute necessity to have a permanent enemy...

The enemy may change color or name but he has to remain an enemy....the concept of the Enemy in Western culture is primordial for the functioning of their societies....and obviously the Enemy must be outside of the Kosher group...

Once a enemy is designated and chosen, the whole State machinery and its various institutions will operate in such a way to demonize, vilify, denigrate the chosen one...in other words it will render legal and acceptable its elimination by any means necessary....again, elimination is not only physically liquidating someone...elimination is contriving someone to a specific limited bounded role from which he can no longer escape - it becomes his "destiny, fate "...a more modern version of slavery if you wish...a slavery in all of its ramifications particularly including the cultural/ideological component...

I am not too sure if common theories of imperialism and its dynamics are enough of an explanation for this most "strange" behavior by the White man...again white is a political-cultural construct and not just a color -- tired of repeating myself but some people are very thick...

In any case, whatever the exact causes behind this are, and am sure there are not one but a constellation of many, it is safe to say the Western world and the Americans in particular, are adepts in creating enemies...and by correlation -- animosity and enmity...

A quick review of the short history of this bastard entity called America, shows that the Americans always strove to have an enemy...

At the beginning it was the "Red Indian" the Native American, then it was the Black - the Afro American, then it was the Japanese, the Korean, the Russian, the Communist, the Vietnamese, the Chinese, the Chicanos (Cubans, Mexicans...) and now it is the Muslim and the Arab...

If the Americans manage to colonize the whole earth, they will still find someone to blame and they will still find someone to be an enemy...

At one point Americans complained of being abducted by UFO's -- trust that if there is no one left to wage a war against here on planet earth, extra terrestrials will be their new enemy...but that is already in the making...well not quite, because you still have paranoid, hysterical, fucked up Americans swearing that they were abducting by the Green men in spaceships...

Now that they have Al-Qaeda, their own invention, it is still Green men but turbaned ones....carrying the Green Islamic Flag...

I mean honestly how can anyone take these people seriously ? These are idiots...I always feel disappointed when people fail to realize the ultimate stupidity of this thing called Americans....and I don't think Americans realize how moronic they are...

The sad part but an expected one -- is that those same "Red Indians", Blacks, Japs, Vietnamese, Koreans, Chicanos even the Commies...have become so part of that moronic culture that they too see the Green turbaned ones as the Enemy....

As for the rest of the Western world, they too are the epitome of stupidity and ignorance...

For the once a month bathing Brits and French it was the Indian, Pakistani, North African, West African, Caribbean, and today it is the Muslim Arab one...for the Germans it was and still is the Turks but you need to add "Muslim", to make it more potent...

For the East Europeans, it was the Turks, and still is the Turks...by the way Eastern Europeans are disgustingly racists, including their so called commies...for them every Muslim is a Turk figuratively speaking...

As for the Scandinavians, they try so hard not to be racist that they end up racist...of course these "extra" Northerners, they too have their enemy...it's the Muslim of course, who else ?! But being so "advanced" in their human rights record, or pretending to be -- the whole discourse revolves around the "Muslim Woman", this becomes "le point d'appui", the starting point for all other ensuing discourses....of course the worst in these icy God forsaken hemisphere are the Fins and the Danes followed by the Swedes...I am told Norwegians are not like that...I don't know and I am not sure I care to find out either...

As for the Spaniards, Portuguese and Italians, it is not much different...their obsession with Muslims and Islam is almost pathological...did you ever hear your average Spaniard, Portuguese or Italian speak of the Muslims and Arabs ? Good Lord, you'd think it is the bloody Catholic inquisition all over again...they've forgotten too quickly how not long ago, they too were denigrated by the White man, as some "cheap greasy labor"...but now that they are in the EU and have attained some respectability in his eyes, they joined the common chorus...am not sure they ever left it...

I think the divide is being clearly set for the future...I think the divide was never bridged to start with...

And while re-reading Amin Maalouf's "The Crusade through Arab eyes" I can tell that the Eternal Enemy will remain Islam and Muslims and that -- for many years to come...unless meanwhile, they manage to capture some green UFO extra-terrestrial, who has been abducting "peace loving" citizens...

Blogging a Masquerade...

Frankly blogging about Iraq's "elections" is boring me to tears . I feel somehow obliged to do it, because it helps me see the utter sham, the utter masquerade of this "political process" under Occupation...Even though the Writing is on the Wall ...really.

UPDATE 5 - Iraq's Elections

It's basically a MESS. A HUGE MESS.

Too many contradictory statements from the Western Press and Arabic Press.

I've been perusing Azzaman, Al-Sharqiya, Al-Jazeera and AP reports and I see no coherence.

Let's start with the ridiculous first.

Al-Jazeera in a special report on the HEC, (High Electoral Commission) states "it's difficult to convey in words quite how remarkable a place the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC ) is at the moment. Its guiding principles – openness, transparency, accessibility – prevail, even under the pressure of this critical moment in Iraqi politics..." You'd think this is a statement from the White House... oh well, it nearly is...

Yet the Iraqiya bloc has affirmed again that "that ballots were dumped in the garbage, nearly a quarter of a million soldiers were denied voting rights and electoral commission workers fiddled with vote counts" but that it also filed complaints with the UN security council and UNAMI because innocent residents of Adhamiya (a Sunni area in Baghdad) are being harassed and arrested by the Iraqi army and that Al-Iraqiya candidates are being threatened, 7 days after the voting has been over.

Al Iraqiya is asking that the final results be released immediately, and that this delay is causing a state of chaos...

There was in fact chaos today in Baghdad, and in the HEC that has been so praised by Al-Jazeera - when the HEC published partial vote results for Baghdad then withdrew them...leaving ordinary Iraqis in total confusion...

AP on the other hand, confirms that Maliki is leading the votes in Baghdad...when only 28% of the votes have been counted so far for Baghdad... (AP report ). AP knows something that ordinary Iraqis don't -- namely that the US wants the sectarian Shiite party of Al-Dawa to rule Baghdad. But look at this utterly grotesque introduction to the report :

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's political coalition took an early vote lead Saturday in the election's all-important battleground of Baghdad, pulling away from its two closest rivals in the latest indication that Iraqis want a moderate government instead of Shiite religious hard-liners leading the postwar nation.

According to AP, Maliki's Dawa Party is a moderate party and none sectarian, when the whole political issue s "national reconciliation" and its impossibility is precisely due to  the sectarian character of Al-Maliki's government and  other Shiite parties, thanks to their application of the "sectarian quota system" (in Arabic it's called Al- Mukhasasa El-Taefiyeh) - a phrase that is repeated by many Iraqis, but trust AP to deliberately ignore that fact. It is truly amazing ! But do read the article because at least it shows the mess of the HEC contrary to Al-Jazeera's praise for it. AP is even more truthful than Al-Jazeera... Amazing again !

However, according to Al-Sharqiya quoting Reuters, (and this report is more accurate than both AP and Al-Jazeera) a spokesman for Maliki's state of Law said that Maliki did not get enough votes to form a majority coalition government and is seeking an alliance with the Kurdish group and of course INA -- as this other AP report clearly points out. It remains to be seen if INA will want to join Maliki or if they are awaiting  fresh orders from Iran as stated in my previous updates.

So against a background of a well thought out and planned chaotic electoral mess, political blocs are scurrying into forming coalitions;

Allawi was in Erbil and had non definitive talks with Kurdish Barazani
Adel Abdel Mehdi of INA (Iraqi National Alliance) has been having talks with Talabani and Barazani
Ammar Al-Hakeem of INA has been having talks with Talabani.
Maliki having talks with INA - well that's expected. See link above.
And Al-Khafaji, spokesperson for the Sadrists of Muqtada A-Sadr the chief driller and sectarian assassin, affirmed to the Iraqi press that " the Sadrists will play a primary and essential role in the new government."

Now -- to the partial election results which are taking ages to be counted...

In the overall count, it seems to be a close contest between Maliki and Allawi and INA coming out in 3rd place.

So far Allawi/Iraqiya is leading in Nineveh, Salahedeen, Diyala while Maliki is leading in Kerbala and Basra
The typical, classical division as per the US occupier's agenda - partition of Iraq into South, Center and North.

For Nineveh these are the figures I managed to get : Iraqiya leading with 62'000 votes, Kurdish Alliance 19'000 votes, Tawafuq 9'000. State of Law 2'000 votes.

In Salahedeen - Iraqiya got 65% of the votes and we are assured that by Monday the counting for this province will be over...

In Kerbala, Maliki is leading by 15'000, followed by INA 6'940 votes, and Iraqiya 3'000 votes.

In Basra, the special votes have been finally counted. But only the "special votes". No one really knows what these "special votes" stand for. It can be the armed forces or the IDP's or both..only God knows. Anyway, Maliki is leading in Basra followed by INA and Iraqiya is in 3rd place.

And of course in Erbil and Sulaymaniya the Kurdish Alliance leads but mum's the word on Kirkuk.

Q.Aboudi of HEC has assured us that the votes for the provinces will be over by Sunday but that "some ballot boxes are quarantined" i.e held up and not included in the vote count. Again no reason given.

As for the votes outside of Iraq - oh well they're still counting...

In Syria the director of the voting centers, said they're still counting
In Jordan - they started the count on Friday 12th March  like a week after the elections and many votes are being excluded even though no legal reasons were given for their exclusion...so basically they're still counting...

Meanwhile a car bomb in Dora killed 2 and wounded 19 Iraqis
3 killed in Mosul
1 in Ghazaliya Baghdad
and a couple in Rawa - Anbar...

But despite the mess and the regular bombs, Al-Jazeera assures us that in 7 days, the transformation for Iraqis has been striking and that  Iraqis are very optimistic about their future -- they were even filmed smiling and having a little fun in dried out parks, with hardly any grass, riding a merry go round...this must be liberation !

Freedom...

I want to blur the lines between my so-called private blog and this one...I have no official title, no official name..I don't receive rewards, prizes, or money...I have been blogging for free...for over 4 years now...
I don't even seek recognition, praise, or approval...I don't care much if anyone reads me or not...I don't care much if I am published or not...I need no one's blessings and/or curses...yet I get many of the latter...but even then I am not too bothered...

I have not practiced much meditation, I get restless sitting in a lotus position, I'd rather dance, paint, write poetry or sing...better still, I like to kick off my shoes and walk in the naked grass...for me that is the highest form of meditation...I don't need a mantra, a guru, a saint, a sheikh...what I need is the Truth...and every once in a while I find it in those short momentums. And when I do so, I am a happy person, I feel free, rich, wealthy, and I can soar, I can rise, I can fly....

Westerners on the other hand have this effect of dampening my spirits...because they are dead inside...

Iraq Is Still Under Sanctions...

I am going to post this just released video on the Sanctions, that are still in place...7 years later. Sanctions are still in place, you read me right .

I don't care much for Kristen Saloomey's reporting...from Arabic Fox News Al-Jazeera. But am uploading the video anyway because I can see/hear the grotesque twists in reporting here...and I am about to blast them...

K.Saloomey starts her report with Under the rule of "ARAB" Saddam Hussein...is Saloomey an Israeli or a Persian by any chance ? And is it by implication that the current rulers of Iraq are not Arabs ? Well it's true they are not Arab they are of Iranian descent...but does that mean that now the Arab is gone, the sanctions should be lifted completely ? Wait till you hear the conclusion...

Then the video talks about the sanctions still being applied, since there is fear of Iraq developing weapons of mass destructions - believe it or not !!! even though the sanctions have practically destroyed Iraq's economy, making it totally dependent on food imports and the worst hit sector today is Iraq's agriculture.

The cost of sanctions for this " flourishing democracy" is too high ...with an unemployment rate not of 18% as the synopsis to this video says --but a rate of 50 to 60%. Get your facts right Al-Jazeera ! And am not holding my breath....

This 2mn video then concludes by implying that maybe after all,  the sanctions still need to be in place for Kuwait's sake...but there is NO Kuwait property to return, no border delineations to settle, if anything it is Kuwait that needs to give back land to Iraq and pay Iraq compensations since this little irrelevant province was/is as a major US base -- for attacking Iraq since 1991...but not only...

And of course, the Conclusion, the Finale --- Iraq is still under Sanctions because of "Arab"Saddam Hussein!

I think am switching to Fox News or CNN - at least I get the "real " thing...

Iraq's Political Prisoners.

The following are excerpts from an Urgent Appeal addressed to Ban Ki Moon of the United Nations on behalf of the hundreds of Iraqi detainees in US custody.

While the Americans claim that the number of Iraqi detainees in their camps is not more than 10'000 or so, maybe even less, the reality is far different...

And I shall quote from the text which can be found here. dated 11th March 2010, written by WATA - World Association of Arab Translators and Linguists and published on the Brussels Tribunal Website.

"...we would like to inform you that the USA occupying forces in Iraq have locked-up more than (162,000) hundred and sixty-two thousand Iraqi citizens in more than (50) prisons and detention camps including (28) camps run by US occupying forces, in addition to many undisclosed investigation and incarceration centers over Iraq.

The number of detainees registered in International Red Cross records is around (71,000) Seventy-one thousand, the other detainees are not recorded with the IRC because they are arrested at US detaining centers where visits by the Red-Cross representatives are denied by the occupying forces and thousands of war prisoners and old age detainees have been imprisoned and detained for more than six years suffering from unbearable and painful living and health conditions
Among the detainees there are (520) women detained by the US forces as hostages in place of their husbands or sons who have escaped detention by the US occupying forces. In prisons run by the US occupying forces there are also more than (900) children of less than fifteen years of age and (470) of them are less than twelve years of age.
In the government prisons there are (1400) children less than fifteen years dumped into crowded and filthy cells. There are also (12,000) persons detained by mistake or under suspicion who are still detained for many years
More tragic is the incidents of dead bodies, dumped in the streets of Iraqi cities, belong to detainees who had been tortured and murdered dreadfully in Iraqi government prisons run by government militias and Iranian intelligence forces. The occupying forces who are legally responsible for the safety of the Iraqi citizens are aware of those incidents but do nothing to stop the tragedy!!!! and the reasons for such an attitude are unknown!!!
The above-mentioned is the general condition of Iraqi prisoners, but the condition of scientists, leaders, diplomats, ambassadors and ministers who have participated in building Iraq and its progress during the last three decades, is not any better. There is a selection of the best scientists and Iraqi citizens suffering hardship in the dark dungeons of Iraq, waiting their lord’s mercy and the stance of honorable people like your good self to free them from the shackles of dark prisons comparable to the darkness of our country’s occupation.
At what era were prisons considered dwellings for scientists and free citizens but not for outlaws? When was science and serving people a monopoly of one nation and not the other? These honest people committed no crime other than serving their people with honor like other human beings. When we talk about these prisoners they represent a wide section of Iraqi scientific, administrative and military brains that focused on building their Iraq and serving their people..."

Moreover I would like to add these secret prisons in Baghdad and its provinces are run by the sectarian Iraqi forces and the KRG. It is in fact very difficult to know the exact number of political prisoners in Iraq. And by the way, torture and rape are systematic in ALL of those dungeons, including the American ones.
Furthermore, there are still hundreds of Iraqis missing, rotting away in IRANIAN prisons in various parts of Iran.
As I said you can read the rest of the article and in it you also will find a list of names of members of the previous regimes...only God knows what is happening to them..
Now that's what I call Freedom and Democracy!
