Backdoor...

I am in some mood tonight.

On my other blog, I just published a post accompanied by a piece of music from Last Tango in Paris.
Anyone who has watched this film will know what the "big scene" is all about - backdoor

I am not into back door, not my cup of tea. I just like to enter places through their front doors.

No window jumping or back door breaking or back stabbing for me - Front doors only.

It is called integrity in my dictionary. You go through the front door and if you are made welcomed and part of the "family", you can always exit through the back door, if you really need/want to.

Get my drift ?

OK, let me put it across more succintly.

When I read an article with a title " Iran in about-turn towards security agreement"... Am sorry, but I can't think nothing of but -- about turn -- backdoor.

Okay, I try again.

Since straight politics is not doing the trick, will try backdoor, maybe that will awaken your senses...

Simply put - it is like when you expect no one at your front door and you find someone sitting in your living room and they made their entry through your back door.

And you, acting all surprised say : "Oh my God, how did you get in ?"
And your unwanted guest grins and says "Your back door was open"

Same in Iraq.

The ones who kept the backdoor open are the Shiites. The way they operate needs an Iranian draft, a courant d'air.
No two ways about it, except for those who are not into drafts. But then, they don't really count.

The front door on the other hand, was forcefully knocked down by the Americans.

So where do you find yourself ?

WHY do you think this is so ? And WHO undertook this organized crime ? And for WHAT purpose ?

I did mention the culprits in the past. And I did state the long term objectives behind their heinous criminal acts. Do you remember ?

A commentator at for As-Sharquia television, he participated in the Maram Committee, being responsible for investigating irregularities occuring during the elections held in January 2006. Abdul Same’e Al-Janabi: Deputy president of the Baghdad University of Technology. Missing after being kidnapped during the third week of January 2007. In 2004, Abdul Sami Al-Janabi was dean of Al-Mustansiriya University’s College of Sciences in Baghdad. He resigned from this position after Shia paramilitary forces threatened to kill him. Such forces began then to occupy university centres in the capital. Transferred by the Ministry of Higher Education to a new position to preserve his security, Sami Al-Janabi has almost certainly been assassinated. Having been threatened by the Mahdi Army, Moqtada Al-Sadr’s militia, Dr Al-Naieb had moved to work in Irbil. During a brief visit to his family in Baghdad, and after recently becoming a father, he was killed at the main entrance to the college on his way to collect some documents. Scarecrows.

In the past, I have often wandered in fields and was always taken by the sight of scarecrows. Something about scarecrows is very symbolic. But I also noticed, that despite their presence, crows always managed to screw up the harvest.

Have you ever seen a scarecrow ? The ones I saw, were usually male look alike, dressed up on a stick. From afar, they looked like puppets. But when you got close to them, they were inert black shadows, trying to scare the hell out of the crows...with no success.

When I was watching the "debate" of the "Iraqi" parliament, on SOFA, a few days back, it reminded me of scarecrows with a much ado about nothing twist to them.


CNN have a youtube video of the "debate" but they failed to show what al-Jazeera reported -- fist fights in Ze "Iraqi" parliament.

The Sadrists (and me who thought they boycotted the political process - someone call Cockburn now !) and the Fadhila party, or Fazileh in Persian, supposedly boycotted SOFA by throwing temper tantrums à la Qum. Anyways I wast telling you about this piece of news - It is only now, 42 YEARS LATER, that the Vatican forgave John Lennon for stating 42 YEARS AGO, that the Beatles are greater than Jesus-Christ.

I can understand that was bad taste from the Beatles, and I do think it is blasphemy, when the Beatles put themselves above Jesus or Issa in Arabic -the son of Mary, a thousand Peace and Blessings upon him...It is arrogant indeed. But 42 years is a tad too long in my opinion.

"Iraq out of Iraq" and other Mousetraps...

My Viking musician friend, Martin Kuchen from Sweden, sent me this and I am reproducing it here with his permission. He is probably the only Swede I know of, who is very aware of the intricacies of the Iraqi Occupation, in all of its dimensions. So hats off to Martin !

This is what he had to say :

"Iraq out of Iraq - Yes this was one of today's headlines on the front page of the biggest "newspaper" in Sweden -- Dagens Nyheter; "Iraq should be out of Iraq within three years". Was that a mistake !?
These hypocritical propagandists reveal the true nature of the reasons behind this occupation, just by "making a mistake"....hahaha."

Then Martin follows up with another mail in which he says :

"Since I haven't seen any correction of the false(?) headlines in today's paper - I decided to call them, the "journalist" at the other end says: "hallo, hallo, you don't think we did on that purpose, do you!?"
Me: "well, keeping in mind that the partition of Iraq has been on the agenda already from the start and...
Him : interrupting me, kind of arrogantly:" Well I haven't seen that, well I will talk to the others and see what we can do..." he could not care less - the fucking bastard.
Just for you to know - nobody in the fucking paper has seen it yet, and no reader either - obviously the headline is too plausible - "Iraq out of Iraq" does not seem strange to anyone - therefore no reaction!? Now I will e-mail them..."

IRAQ OUT OF IRAQ - The Swedish newspaper did not make a mistake. Even in Sweden there are unconscious slips, because the Iraqi REALITY can no longer be denied...

On another note but still very related...

I was watching with Mom - God bless her - Al Jazeera program "Itijah al Muakess" - Opposite Directions or Views. One of the guests was an "Iraqi" Kurd, the other a Lebanese. Why on earth did Al-Jazeera feel the need to bring in a Lebanese to talk about SOFA when there are plenty of Iraqis who are opposed to the DUAL occupation ?

The Kurd dismissed the question when asked about the persecution of the Iraqi Christians and literally ducked it. When grilled about American detention camps - he said " The AMERICANS NEVER ARREST ANYONE"

Kamel and Omar, my close relatives are STILL IN DETENTION. As for Omar, we are not quite sure if he is alive or not. And Kamel is over 67 years old. If he ever makes out alive, that in itself would be a miracle. They are both detained by the Americans with NO CHARGES.

At that point, Mom who was busy cleaning the Bamia - Okra or Ladies Fingers-said in her typical Iraqi fashion, "Nchab, kalb ibn al kalb." - Shut up, dog son of a dog. My Mom is polite.

I said "Yumma, those Shiites and Kurds sold Iraq for a cheap price". She did not even raise her head and continued cleaning the Bamia, and replied "sold only ? - there is no crime they did not commit"

When the Kurd, was asked how come the "Iraqi" (hahahaha) Hawza (theological council of my butt) was infiltrated by Iran (Has Al-Jazeera been reading my blog or what?), the Kurd dismissed that too, saying it was a pack of lies...

Basically that turd dismissed everything. The Lebanese guest, no longer able to contain himself - told him " You sold Iraq" but the Lebanese did not mention the Shiites who sold Iraq as well. Hmm....how come ?
I wonder what Sayyed Nasrallah of Ze Lebanon has to say about SOFA, now that Iran fully backs it ?!

Ali Larjani, today in the Iranian parliament asked the members of the IRAQI parliament to refuse SOFA. And Muqtada al-Driller urged the Iraqis to oppose it as well.

Dual, paradoxical messages from Iran. Why ? You may ask...

Several reasons :

- They may be different political trends within Iran, and different pressure groups pertaining to different Ayatollah's influences. Another race for power.

- Another confusing game, that the Iranians are very good at, to frustrate both the Americans and the American-Iranian "Iraqi" puppets.

- To maintain a chronic, constant state of instability in Iraq, not by fighting the occupier, but by fiercely supporting very sectarian elements in Iraq, like Muqtada Al-Sadr for instance, in order to ensure the constant tiptoeing of the Americans and extract more concessions in favor of IRAN.

- and last but not least, it may be a theatrical show altogether, for internal and external purposes, to demonstrate what a "flexible" polity with "differing opinions", the Iranians have.

It can also be all of the above combined.

The Iranians are good at catching several birds with one stone. But the TRUE Iraqis are very good at catching the Iranians, catching them...

Ya Saddam Hussein, you were the BEST in that game of cat and mouse. And now that the Cat/Lion is gone, there is nothing left but the bubonic mice.

All this to tell you, that:

- Iran has officially given its green light on the IRAQI- American "security agreement".

- That it will keep the joker card as a last resort, by using Muqtada Al-Sadr if necessary, again and again...

- That it has started to demonstrate to the Arabs and the rest of the World, the weight of its negotiating powers with the "mightiest" country on earth.

So in fact, the Swedish newspaper is correct when it stated "Iraq out of Iraq".
It just missed one important word in that sentence - ARAB Iraq, out of Iraq.

Should the other dare to voice or complain, your dirty fingers are quick to point in his direction and your smelly moralistic tones are elevated.

You go and dig in your repertoire of do's and dont's, what is acceptable, what is not and you are shocked beyond belief that the other is not grateful to you.

You want someone in your own image. In fact you are the most fake hypocritical nations and peoples I have ever come across. And trust me, I have been around.

Two Shi'ite lawmakers have called for a referendum on turning the oil-rich province of Basra in southern Iraq into a mini-state.

The push signals a renewed effort by Shi'ites to grant regions self-rule in what would be a federalist system of government.

Sunnis oppose the idea, fearing it could lead to the country's eventual break up or isolate them from oil wealth concentrated in mainly Shi'ite and Kurdish areas.

Sheik Kheir-Allah al-Basri, a Shi'ite lawmaker from a small secular party, sought to ease such fears on Saturday, arguing that the push for autonomy is not a "secessionist motion".

Wail Abdul-Latif, another secular lawmaker from Basra, argued that granting regions more power would give Iraq's political process "more chances for stability."

He added that they have collected some 35,000 signatures from supporters in the region to press the electoral commission to hold a referendum on an autonomous region.

The idea of creating a federalist system in Iraq is expected to play a prominent role in the country's provincial elections, which are to be held before January 31, and the three largest Shi'ite parties have used the issue in their fight to win supporters ahead of the vote.

The largest bloc - the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council - strongly backs the creation of a nine-province autonomous region.

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's Dawa Party and the movement headed by radical Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr both oppose the proposal, arguing it poses a threat to national unity.

The region of Kurdistan in northern Iraq already enjoys self-rule.

Re-read that article. The argument for a independent state of Basra, read Southern Iraq, is "more political stability." That was/is Biden's argument.

But I thought we had stability in Iraq with Maliki and the surge no ?
So what are they telling us now - that if this does not go through, there will be more carnage, of Sunnis in particular ? Like what ? Have the ARAB Sunni population dwindle down from 55% to less than 20% to 0% ?

And read what the rest of the article says - It says that Maliki and Muqtada Al-Sadr supposedly oppose the secessionist plan. Do you know why they oppose it, IF they truly oppose it that is. Because Maliki desperately needs to stay in power, and he knows all too well that if this plan goes through prematurely, sectarian strife will erupt again in Iraq. He needs more to time to pacify things and hand it over in a proper fashion to Iran. Don't forget he has the Kurds on his back, pushing for a fully fledged independent state and Iraqi Christians running away from Kurdish persecution. As for Sadr, he would like to come back into the political limelight with more force and finish off the few Sunnis and Christians that are left in the arena. It is very possible that we might witness another inter Shiite front developing between Maliki's DAWA party and the Sadrists of Muqtada - yet again. This latter has reorganized his militia to supposedly "fight the occupation".
This possible alliance between the Dawa and the Sadrists remains to be seen and I do not exclude it. Call it the race for power.

Meanwhile I can assure you that a great majority of the Iraqis in exile have no inclination whatsoever to live under sectarian fascist Shiite rule nor under Iranian rule, nor under American rule. So whatever the outcome, we are out of the game. Better be safe than sorry as they say.

But the biggest question remains, and this is something I will really have to tackle in my future posts - Why has Zionist America propped Iran to become a regional superpower in the Arab World ? Anyone vying for the gates of Mecca by any chance ?

Whilst away, you run out of means to survive. You want to return. You return. You take out your key, you put it in the door, you can't unlock it. You think you are dreaming. You check the street, the numbers, yes you are in the right place. You knock on the door. Some strange face opens. You say, is this my home ? But this is my home! And the strange face tells you go to hell - you have no home here.

So you circle around the house, building, tent, hut, whatever it is, and you pinch yourself...and you say I swear that was my home and that was my neighborhood.
Then it hits you - you have no more home.

So being a citizen who believes in the rule of law - you go to the "Authorities." They mock you or they offer you 300$ as compensation. You shake your head in disbelief and say - this cannot be. So you decide to seek a lawyer.

You are told - be careful whom you chose as a lawyer, because all the honest ones are out of the country and you may fall on some charlatan, sectarian son of a bitch who will take all your money and deliver zilch. But you try anyway, knowing by now that your chances are nil. Because there is NO RULE OF LAW IN A LAWLESS OCCUPIED COUNTRY.

In Baghdad, the city I know best, there was NO all predominantly Sunni, Shiite or Christian neighborhoods. This is a MYTH that your disgusting media tried to propagate. There is one exception though. Al-Thawra now baptized as Sadr City. This dump made of convicts, thieves and outlaws was "predominantly" Shiite. One day I will give you the history of Sadr City, but not today. Today I want to walk baby steps with you. Yalla, clever ones, there you go, have a lollipop whilst I walk through post-2003 Baghdad.

Let's us forget about the Green zone for a while...

I know, I know, you love your little amusement there. Uncle Sam, Auntie, Papa and Mama have some American goodies stored for you there but let me walk you through the Red Zone for a change.

This is what they did. They would take over a house. Then when the owner comes to claim it, depending on who the owner is - they either say: it is ours - or they will offer you some money to buy it. If you are short of money because you have been in exile for so long, you might concede. But if you don't concede and say this is my house -- they will give you their yellowish sectarian Shiite/chauvinistic Kurdish smile and say - you have no choice.

Or take for example another "cool" neighborhood. Yarmook and Jadriya. Same principle.

Or take Mansour or Karrada - same principle.

Now if you happen to live in a slightly more popular area, like Dora, Amil, Haifa, Falasteen, Sleikh... then, there you really have no choice at all. If those who took over your house are armed...you can kiss your house goodbye. They will not move. Unless they are willing to settle for big money. And if you don't have big money, you are screwed for good.

But there are more variations...

You leave your home, and you ask someone to look after it. That someone lost his home during your never ending "liberation", he moves in into yours. Then he is short of money or his relatives also lost their homes. So he rents out some rooms or brings in more people to live with him. So you return and you want your home back, what do you do with 3 to 4 families living there ? Where will they go ? Again you are screwed.

Or let's take another example. You have a land or some property and your father, sister, brother, mother, daughter, cousin, uncle, aunt...was kidnapped and tortured by the death squads that YOU had put in place, and they ask for a ransom. So you sell your house, land, property, hut, tent whatever it is - to pay your kidnappers for their release. If you don't have the money, you borrow. Then you have to reimburse. So you have to sell whatever it is you owned. And you want to return?
You can't. You are up to your neck in debts finishing off the payments and you have nothing to return to. Again you are screwed.


Let's take yet another example. You live on some plot of land, in a small house on the outskirts of Baghdad. You leave because they threatened to kill, rape or torture you. The minute you are gone, they come and set up their homes on your land. The area becomes all Shiite, you know you will never be able to go back to that land. So what do you do? You try to sell it hoping that those who took it will buy it. Since they took it by force why should they buy it?! So you let go, and you pack your suitcases and apply for emigration to some God forsaken brothel country in the West.

This is what happened and what is happening to our homes since you decided to "liberate" us.

Do you understand now ? Fat chance. You will never understand.

But hey, you understood when an earthquake or a hurricane blew it over for you...did you not ? But at least you could blame a natural disaster for that.

I am a firm believer that people should really get very honest with themselves, once and for all. If they do so, everything will fall into place.

Take today's pilot for instance. He is not fit to fly anything, not even a kite let alone an areoplane. Really, my suggestion to him is to change professions altogether.
I see him much better off, keeping some kiosk, selling bubble gum and tobacco. There is nothing wrong with becoming a kiosk vendor, you know. Maybe the current puppet Iraqis should take up that vocation too and leave government and politics to REAL men.

Shit, the landing was so bad, my butt is still shaking....And just by coincidence I was listening to a song by Elvis Presley - All shook up. Came in handy. No Land...

One of the reasons, I don't post much Iraqi music, or try to keep it to a minimum, is because listening to Iraqi music fucking tears me apart. And instead of it grounding me into anything, it just fills me up with so much grief, sadness and longing, I feel my heart exploding, imploding...

Oh God, I miss home. I see people around me, they have homes. They have a life, it may not be a great one, or a very successful one, but they have one. They have families they can run back to. They don't sit and lament their maimed and dead, daily...Why not us ? Why can't we have that too ? I ask myself

And I look at us, and we have one eye turned to the past, to a place we once intimately knew, a place we loved and cherished and an eye to an unknown future, full of uncertainties...promising us nothing but more of the same...

We ask ourselves, daily, every single day, from the moment we open our eyes to the minute we close them - will it ever end ?

America and "its coalition of the willing" turned Iraq into a mirror image of itself.

A country of broken and dispersed families, lost individuals. A country of ghettos and cities where you can't venture out at night. A Make Over

As you may have noticed, I've undergone a make over. I was trying to figure out the timing and the colors...

I now know, that the different shades of blues reflect it much better...And besides, I really wanted to get out of that bottle and dive into the deep blue sea.

It may well be that the land is missing, earth...my Land and my Earth. It may very well be that I miss home so much...

No wonder Maliki and Co were also backing the booma along with Iran. I also know that Iran had generously contributed to the Obama campaign.


I am glad that the evil, bastard Bush is out. No doubt about it. But I shall not congratulate you on your 44th president. He will simply finish off what the other Zionists had started -- The final partition of my country.
